This shack is right on the Baina beach. They serve eatables and beverages. The owners are friendly and they do engage in conversation with the customers if they are open to it. This place is one of the closest point to Grand Island where the scuba diving activity is done. But you really have to be aware about the rates of atleast avoid all the touts/agents and go directly to the cabin where the tickets are issued. The agents will tell you several lies and show you watersport printed rate charts which are not the actual rates but highly exhorbitant. For instance, in Calangute i was offered scuba diving PLUS 6 boat rides like jetski, banana, etc PLUS breakfast and lunch PLUS pickup drop to and fro Grand Island at Rs. 1500 only. But here on Baina beach this agent Mr. Mahesh offered me only scuba diving for Rs. 1800 as per his fake printed chart. Moreover, our hired driver Mr.Raju wanted his cut for bringing us there but looked like the agent didn't entertain him so he started harrassing us to return back without doing any watersports after Scuba although he himself had agreed to allow us complete our watersports. The overall vibe of this place is good. The food is also tasty. We had ordered
The chicken crispy and manchurian was yummy, The chicken Kolhapuri was spicy but the chicken handi was a big let down.
The service was slow and it took 15 mins for the order to be served.
The seafood price is exorbitant but the rest of the items on the menu are well priced.
