The food Chef Peter served us touched our hearts and souls. Honestly, it’s something I’ll remember for a lifetime. Words don’t do it justice — “good” isn’t even close.

We were a group of six and ended up eating like there was no tomorrow — about 25 to 30 dishes! And every single one was a masterpiece. Chef Peter is pure magic in the kitchen.

Must-tries:

Beef croquettes– crispy, tender, unforgettable. Salt pork chili – a flavour explosion. Sanna (Goan rice cake) – soft, comforting, and perfect. Stuffed crab – rich and heavenly. Unndo bread – rare to find and phenomenal! Just add butter and thank me later. Caju wine and Irish cream – both divine. Desserts: The caramel custard was out of this world, followed by bibinca, coconut jaggery ice cream, and seradura. Every one a 10/10.

By the end, we were in a total food coma and still couldn’t stop eating.

And then there’s Chef Peter himself. What a gem of a human. Humble, generous, and incredibly talented. He takes your order, helps you pair dishes, then goes in and cooks everything himself. You can tell he understands food deeply, every bite hits exactly right. His family helps him run the place, and they’re just as warm and welcoming. It truly feels like you’re being fed by friends.

Here’s what melted my heart: we’d ordered the last caramel custard and wanted more Chef Peter brought some from his home kitchen🥹. That kind of hospitality is rare and so genuine.

This place is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience. A hidden gem serving soulful Goan food made with love. Go before everyone finds out about it, trust me, you’ll thank yourself later.

P.S. No pictures. Just foodgasms, laughter, and one very happy soul that’s already planning...

Intimate setting off the beaten track in Pilerne (Sangolda) this place is for those who would like to have a taste of authentic Goan cuisine. During my visit we were personally looked after by Chef Peter so we were treated to some of his personal recommendations.

Chef Peter's version of Stuffed Crabs is closer to the vinegar infused (Bombay East Indian) "balchaon" than the popular stuffed cheese version. This is a taste which may not sit well with those not used to it. But for those who know the taste - well they know it and will love it.

The Pork Ard Mas is another dish we tried and enjoyed. Served with hot breads the dish was prepared with a reshad (recheado) masala variation. This bone meat dish is a delicacy for those who relish this less popular meat preparation.

Portions were generous and the service was friendly as Chef Peter was joined by his family for service help. For us this was more like a Chef's Table experience than a restaurant meal. For those interested the seafood options are stellar and will not let you down. We also did plates of Bhangda Fry, Xinaneao (Mussell) Rava Fry and a portion of Samarein Chi Kodi (dry fish curry) & rice which was polished off by the rest of our party with ease.

This is a place for those with a sure footed palate and looking for authentic local dining options away from the North Goa drag. If you have the time and the inclination, Chef Peter's Kitchen has the ability to charm you with a...

When in Goa, Go to Chef Peter's Kitchen! Thats a rule i follow always. By far this place serves the best Goan Food and best i have ever had in Goa or anywhere else. Just with 1 person by his side Chef Peter himself makes all those lovely dishes for you and its a honour to be served by him i believe, after all Chef Peter is a well known name in the food and beverage fraternity in Goa. I have been to multiple joints to explore Goan delicacies even the top ones which people mostly flock around but this place is way different. Just give a prior call to Mr Peter and tell your preference be it Sea food, Pork, Mutton, Beef, he will make sure it is available for you. Not to forget the amazing house wine! I remember atleast ordering 12 different dishes between us 5. The best part of this homely joint is, whatever is on the menu is always available, not even once its happend that if we had asked for something and its not available! Now thats what i call Consistency. Chef's house and the restaurant area is so beautiful and clam, this adds up to the lovely experience. Wish i could add some pictures but every time i visit the place i am just engrossed in the food. Try this place and you will never forget it! Super Highy recommended. You just...

Chef Peter's a star in his own right! He owns a quaint place on the fields of Pilrne and serves authentic Luzo (Portugese & Goan confluence styled) cuisine. We ordered the croquettes and stuffed quids, the prawn risoyos were delicately delicious. For mains we tasted the rice and prawn curry with lady fingers and chonak (breaded seabass) and Bombay duck (must have)! The pork sweet and sour is more of a starter than a main, and is diced fine with just the right ratio of meat. All the dishes were top in flavour which are some of the best I've tried. After speaking with the chef we were presented with his home made pomegranate grape wine (very subtle) and the lime pickle. Please try the serradura and the tender coconut jaggery ice cream as it's the perfect end to a sumptuous meal.

We recently discovered this place and have been here four times already. Chef Peter makes the best Beef Croquettes I have ever had! The pork sorpotel is amazing too. The portion sizes are good and so is the pricing. The restaurant, though open air only, could do with some better cooling given Goa’s worsening summers. Babies feel very hot here, but upon request the Chef will quickly whip out some traditional Goan baby food that the kids will love! It’s a family run business but the Chef does it more out of passion than business and it shows the food that is delivered on your plate. Don’t Swiggy it, please dine in. Zomato may often show that the place is temporarily/permanent shut, so simply call the phone number and book a table.
