Happenings Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Goa

We were on the lookout for a place to have some dinner and came across this place, we went as per the reviews.

The ambience was nice, light music being played in the background and it wasn't too busy.

We ordered a couple of soups, chicken lollipops, burnt chicken garlic fried rice, mixed hakka noodles, chicken xacuti, veg crispy and parathas.

The wait was long, to get the food and all our dishes lacked flavor, the only star of the show was the beautiful cat, who gave us company on Christmas day.

Overall, I'd say food was below average and service was really slow, but the young boy that was serving us really tried his best to make sure we were okay.

Prices are decent, however they don't have the prices mentioned for their cocktails which was a bit odd and put us off from potentially trying...

Went there for their fish thali after seeing it hyped by so many food bloggers on instagram. Found the thali to be below average. The kingfish piece was very small. The curry was nice. The side dishes weren't so good. The fish in curry and the side dish wasn't something most goans (specially hindus) eat anyway so was surprised to find it being served in a place like Ponda. Overall quantity of the thali was okay for a person who eats small portions. The solkadi was really good though. We went during afternoon so it was pretty warm but I'm sure the place will look really pretty at night with low lighting. Wouldn't recommend them for their thali, but would definitely like to try their Chinese dishes the next...
