Heart Beat Family Multi Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Updated: Happened to visit the restaurant yet again as was a lunch treat and couldn't avoid. Was surprised to see the quantity of French fries, it was like as if they were short on potatoes in the kitchen. The French fries were just spread and kept on a plate. Also fish thali, the fish was chonak and a very small piece, though it was fried well. The items in the thali also were very small in quantity. When asked for pickle they gave it in a sachet not even cut. Had asked for for a scissor, but the waiter never returned only. It was so difficult to even open the packet leave alone have it. Again a very disappointed visit.

A year old review: Visited today. Very poor and slow service. Thali was not that great on todays visit. First they said they would be serving tamoshi fish and later when thali came served kingfish. On asking they said no sorry we have kingfish only. Found a medium flat size white stone or shell like something in one of the items on the thali served. When showed the water he just said its of the fish ( dont understand how it can n what part of a fish) n he just took it away. Didnt get a chance to click a pic Also on the table when we entered first they said table was reserved (when the whole restaurant was empty)n later said u can sit on it. Order took a very long time to come. People who came after us was served first. I have visited this place in the past a couple of times, ordered food online also and never faced any unpleasant issue. But today was like a bad day for all of their staff and sadly for us too. Sadly it will be ticked out of my list of places...

Heartbeat is one of the cool restaurants in the vicinity of Mapusa. They have AC seating on the plinth level and a sort of semi-outdoorsy seating downstairs which is sort of like a basement, but, is sort semi open air. I actually wanted to sit in the AC section. However, the whole section was booked for a birthday party. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t allow to sit there because it was booked. However, I was glad that I sat downstairs because the downstairs is also just cool. You need to visit the place to experience it. I won’t say that it’s mind blowing. But, they have an aviary with some domestic birds and garden like balcony which is nice.

I called the restaurant mobile number available on Google which I have called earlier as well and placed orders. Since I was driving and was 15 minutes away, I thought that this would help me collect the order. The person mentions that if I could call some other number to which I explained to him that I have the number from the web. He tells me if I have an alternate number, I say no and request him to send it to me. To my utter surprise, he mentions that he is driving to which i informed him that I too am driving. I then informed the person that I will come to the restaurant and order the food as I gathered that I shouldn't discomfort him.
