This place is truly a gem. It is just an hour away from Kudal, Sindhudurg. It is near Redi but this restaurant is located in Terekhol/Tiracol. Just down the way there's also a ferry that one can take and travel to the Keri. It is the best option for tourists, localities from Goa and Kudal.
Tip - If you happen to be a tourist please ensure to stay at this place on weekends before 12 pm as it is always super crowded.
Restaurant - It is a hill top restaurant and you can enjoy the Terekhol view. The entrance looks grand and the view is quite inviting. The fresh seafood aroma lingers around the whole area. We are local here so I've never been to the adjacent pool side hotel but it looks divine from the opposite side and I wish to visit and review that on my blog soon.
The overall ambience is quite simple, the staff is always on the toes taking orders and accommodating guests. If you are someone who loves seafood do try their dishes. I've tried their Punjabi and Chinese menu and it's finger-licking good. Now let's talk about the pricing - the food is surprisingly best but low in price as compared to other Goan restaurants. One of our friend knows the owner and he vouches for the quality and honesty of the owner and how efficiently he tackles the restaurant with pure loyalty. The owner is super down to earth. We've never met him yet!
We don't drink but if you happen to drink than this is the right place with most beautiful view. If you come with your family and kids please be on time or else you will have to wait a little.
Some of the dishes tried by me and my family - Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Manchurian, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Crispy, Lemon Soda (it's too much soda for my liking and they have lemon water too which is not that sweet π), Butter Roti, Chicken and Paneer. The prawns rava fry are a hit here but they are expensive (we know this as we are locals here and usually have them at home). If you happen to be a seafood lover don't miss the prawns...
Β Β Β Read moreHaving lunch at Hill Rock Restaurant was undoubtedly one of the standout moments of our Goa trip. The journey to reach the restaurant itself was an unforgettable experience. We took a ferry from Keri Beach, with our car onboard, and then visited Tiracool Fort to enjoy the breathtaking view. On our way back, we stopped at Hill Rock Restaurant for lunch.
Despite the place getting crowded within minutes, we were fortunate enough to secure a table. The service was impressively quick, and we highly recommend trying their tandoor items and tikkas β they were truly exceptional. The seafood was fresh, well-prepared, and showcased their expertise in culinary craftsmanship.
Additionally, the restaurant offered an incredible view that added to the overall dining experience. Considering the superb quality of food, service, and ambiance, it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider staying overnight at their hotel and enjoying all meals there. The value for money is exceptional, making it a tempting proposition.
In summary, our visit to Hill Rock Restaurant was a highlight of our trip, offering not only delectable food but also a unique and picturesque journey. We highly recommend it to anyone...
