Hoble's River Lounge — Restaurant in Goa

Great location but the food and service was not that great. The person I was with is a goan chef and said he'd give them ONE star. My rating is an average. The drinks order was messed up to begin with, a simple Lime Soda, Salty. On alerting the waiter, he immediately brought me the correct order. My chef friend's advice to them is keep Sugar syrup handy, he had to stir the sugar for long. We ordered the Sp. Fish Thali (chonok). The chonok was quite thin and the portion was also too small, the tase of the fish was okay. The fish curry of the Thali was border line rancid, the kismoor was also average. The biggest disappointment was the the Prawn Bachao... It was sweet and no punch...

I had the displeasure of dining at Mk Hoble's recently, and it was a complete disaster. The food was not just bad, it was a culinary tragedy! From tasteless entrees to overcooked mains, it seemed like the chef was competing for the worst dish of the year. And the prices! Let's just say they're the only thing more inflated than the disappointment you'll feel after paying the bill.

Green peas Fry of Rs.170 very little quantity it's like normal road side vendor whose price should be 40 to 50 but here it's rs. 170. Taste wise third class only taste was of masala over loaded no salt no taste nothing ,🤢🤢🤢🤢💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

No side salad no lemon nothing given , dish is like someone ,s leftovers , third class service owner and staff is full of attitude🤧👎 it's better to visit some other restaurant no matter d price but quantity should be good , here u r getting 50 rs quantity by paying 170 rs. Worst...
