Looked like a warm and welcoming place ...but thats it ...it's far too expensive..a plain steamed rice bowl for 3 was charged Rs ..300 !!!! That too normal rice ...prawns in the curry were not at all fresh ...there were so many okra in the prawn curry that it appeared more like okra curry !!!! We ordered mackerel cutlets which had only potatoes n bread taste ...for four large cutlets I think quarter of mackerel was used ...king fish was ok ...bill came to 2400 !!! Goan fish curry is always served with but of salad ..not even cut onion was served as courtesy... Worst of all there was Indian toilet attached to the dining room where we ate and guess what ??? It had no door !!!!! Only a silly curtain which was flying due to the fan ...so uncomfortable if you want to pee ...no water in the wash basin ..water was kept in the bucket...I mean if you are going to charge five star hotel rate for food Atleast make a door for...

A huge 30 year old tree and a passion fruit plant overlooking a beautiful rustic old Goan house, Fatima aunty welcomed us into her home and so did her two cutie doggos. Having her freshly cooked traditional Goan meal while sitting in her quaint veranda, we could time travel to the days when most Goan restaurants were run by locals from home. There is no menu and it’s better to call her in advance if you’re planning to visit her in Chorao Islands, ours was very last minute and she still managed to fill us with a hearty meal. Highly recommend visiting her for an old-world charm &...
