Rodrigo’s Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

I am writing this review as the food here spoilt not just my one time meal experience but costed my nephew a doctor visit due to food quality issues at this restaurant. Please avoid this place at all costs, even if you are dead hungry. This place serves stale and smelly fish. My 3 yr old nephew went through vomiting and diarrhea after eating fish fingers which were made out of stale fish. When we reported this to the manager he dismissed it saying we use only fresh fish. We had sleepless night due this restaurants negligence towards food safety. we also had chicken lollypop which was undercooked. we ordered both (veg and nonveg) thali which had heapful of rice but very little quantity of curry. Wondering how this place got positive reviews which misled us to try this place. please don't fall for any positive reviews it will cost you your health and not just 1 time miserable...

We ordered takeout of sukhi tisereo, butter garlic shrimps, chicken noodles, mix noodles and let me tell you we savored the meal...the food was delicious eventhough we got there before the restaurant they accomodated our request took our orders and called us to have it picked before the promised time...the only reason I gave 4 stars is because I really wanted squids butter garlic which was out of stock and shrimps butter garlic was small quantity with little shrimps...otherwise I have complaints...love it recommend going to...

I had mackerel thali with lime soda.

While food was good, provided rice quantity less than expected and certainly not in sync with curry they gave which had dried prawns. Thali also came with dried prawns kismoor, a vegetable dish with salad and pickle. Mackerel was fine, medium size and nicely cooked. Whole Thali was priced at ₹150

Lime soda was good but expensive for ₹60

Place as whole is clean and right on highway.

It would be nice if they make portions bigger. Will...
