Royal Garden — Restaurant in Goa

Am giving this review based on my personal experiences what I have got and not to disrespect anyone's image;

I initially ordered from this restaurant because I found their fruit salad and ice cream clean and fresh. Over time, I tried other food items like green salad, basil tomato soup free of basil, masala papad, and stuffed capsicum. While their masala papad was decent (though it’s just bhel masala), the stuffed capsicum was an unpleasant experience. The capsicum wasn’t properly peeled, overly spicy, and nothing like the images shown. Thankfully, I ordered via Zomato, and they processed a refund.

However, things worsened with their ice cream orders. When my order was of small food items, I received small two kitchen spoons of ice cream of Rs. 170, which was unacceptable. I even provided feedback with photo to highlight this issue. Shockingly, instead of addressing my concerns, the restaurant partner called me and asked about a promo code I used earlier, claiming they’d still give me less quantity. I had to involve Zomato to resolve the issue as I wasn’t dining at their place but ordering online.

After Zomato intervened, they finally provided the required quantity of ice cream and that also delaying the delivery partner. However, after eating it, I developed a severe headache that worsened, by dawn, I had vomited five times, leaving me extremely weak. This has raised serious health concerns about their food quality.

It’s disheartening to see a restaurant with such a scenic location and an appealing menu disregard basic customer satisfaction and health safety. They appear more focused on their interests than the needs of their customers. I urge potential customers to think twice before ordering. A pretty view doesn’t justify compromising...

Royal garden Refurbished memories✨

Visited this place is Recently as its newly opened by One of my friend Akshay. All the memories were refreshed with all new refurbished Interior and exterior. Huts 🛖 private seating was my favourite and we opted for same. They have open lawn seating and normal seating also you can pick your seat accordingly. They plays Ambience music most of the time, in the evening they have live bands and other events.

I’m glad now Ponda have variety of options for food wherein they don’t have to travel all the way to Margao or Panaji. Royal garden has variety of Continental, Asian, Thai, Goan and The best part is you will get sizzler in Ponda with reasonable pricing.

Back then Royal Garden forever to go place for late night weekend/weekday dinner, whenever we wish to hang out with friends. Growing up in town like Ponda With hardly few options and varieties of food, back then Royal Garden for a saviour with good food. With new management in place this place has become more lively!

Service was excellent. Food was great. Portions are a good size. Range of foods on menu means there is something for everyone.

Ratings are well deserved! This spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The location is easy to find, with good road access and nearby parking, which makes getting here hassle-free.

The ambience is great, especially in the evening — warm lighting, clean setup, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s a place where you can unwind, enjoy a good meal, and spend quality time with friends or family.

The seating arrangements are decent — nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a pleasant dining experience. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options across Indian and fusion cuisines. We started with Chicken Soup, Tandoori, and Apple Chicken — all served hot and full of flavor. The Apple Chicken was particularly unique and definitely worth trying.

The main course lived up to expectations — well-prepared, tasty, and served in generous portions. Clearly, the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

Service was courteous and reasonably fast, and the staff ensured we were taken care of throughout the meal.

If you’re looking for a place with good food, a relaxed vibe, and plenty of options, this is a solid choice. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just treating yourself to a good meal, this place delivers.
