The Origin Goa — Restaurant in Goa

My friend and I visited here on a Sunday for a game between Liverpool and Man City. The place was packed, all tables were pre-reserved, so if you go on game night, reserve a table. They had 2 large TVs and one massive projector screening the game, the projector also has 2 huge speakers. The experience of watching the match was flawless, and I'd be sure to visit again anytime that I feel compelled to watch some football.

Although we were neutral, the bar was mostly full of folks cheering on Liverpool that day, with the owner also mentioning they are packed on days that Man Utd are playing.

The ambience is nice, it's a large, open seating arrangement with cane type furniture that's quite comfy, many low and high tables as well as seats at the bar, and one table where you can kick a football into a goal while you wait for your food.

We had some lovely refreshing urrak cocktails and straight pours, the cocktails were decent, the fresh urrak was delicious. We tried the chicken tenders which were delicious and the nachos which were unremarkable. Lastly we ordered a beef Florentine steak.

The steak itself was delicious, a bit chewy but came with a yummy peppery sauce and some veggies and mash. Unfortunately there was some error with the order so it took too long, but after a quick chat with the owner, he sorted it out.

They were extremely gracious and did not even charge us for the steak, which was probably 30% of our bill.

The enthusiasm for the match, the ambience and screens, the vibe are all unmatched at the Origin, the service is exceptional, and the food is good too.

I recently visited "The Origin" and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wonderful ambience. The food and drinks were exceptional, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service.

During my visit, the owner, who pays remarkable attention to detail, noticed that I was sweating and acted swiftly to make me feel comfortable. They brought me a fan, ensuring I felt looked after and comfortable throughout my meal. This level of care and hospitality is truly rare to find.
