This is perhaps the last inhabited dwelling in Tosh, there isn't a path beyond this Cafe'

The big thing that stands out is the view one gets from the location...

Didn't try the rooms, just stayed to rest after the hike and grabbed a small meal..

Depending on how You get to Tosh, to get to this place You have to park Your transport where the road ends.

The road from Kasol to Tosh has a LOT of bumps and several patches are unpaved...

Then You start walking from the parking towards the village. You go thru the village after crossing a stream. One of the first things You will notice is the amount of garbage and filth that is scattered all throught Your hike to this Cafe'..

If You take it slowly, due to a steep hike, it may take You anywhere between 20 minutes to 40 minutes or so..

The Cafe' has an open area and also an enclosed restaurant with floor mattress/cushioned seating..

The views of the snow covered peaks are spectacular and worth the hike. The rest of it not so much..

They have an extensive menu with all kinds of Indian, Italian, Israeli, western types of foods. Kept it safe and ordered Aaloo Poori with Yogurt and Chai...

The Aaloo subzi was decent and thick. The poories were dripping with oil and very greasy. The chai was ok. The total amount paid including a bottled water was Rs. 630.

They do have a good WiFi signal as well as GPay.

The service was substandard and there were dirty dishes across most of the tables when we entered. The people running this place don't really know or are familiar with the basic concept of hospitality and are raking in money ONLY because of the location and that they can rest in a moderately comfortable environment..

The toilet was dirty and had not been kept clean and there were dirty tissues everywhere and no soap...

Given how dusty, dirty and unkept the whole place was, didn't have the heart or guts to order anything else...

The overall experience was not great at all and it is highly unlikely that i would ever...

I ordered a pizza. It took around 40 minutes to arrive. In the meantime, I asked for oregano seasoning. He brought over a jar from another table — and it had water inside it. Probably because it was left out in the open during the rains a few days back. When the pizza finally came, the presentation was downright horrendous — like something a toddler might have thrown together. It was cooked on a gas stove, the base was unevenly burnt, soggy in the middle, and definitely not crunchy. Easily the worst pizza I’ve had in a long time — and I’m not exaggerating. To make matters worse, it was overpriced. You're basically paying for the name and the view, not for the food or the experience. I asked for regular water — you know, the free kind — and he said they can’t serve it… because they don’t have jugs. Bro. No jugs?? What café in the mountains doesn’t own a single jug. Apparently they only do packaged water. They’ve named the place after Pink Floyd — honestly, the band deserves an apology.
