If you are passing by Nizampura main road , you would find a bunch of unorganised crowd , some eating and some waiting to eat then you can assume you are passing by this restaurant called Amritsari Kulcha. Basically i feel this place is over hyped, have no idea as to why is that. Absolutely no crowd management , unhygienic as you literally eat sitting on footpath and pavements. There is only 1 person maintaining the queue and crowd for arranging seating and parcel orders. None of the cooking and serving staff wore mask including the person who prepares kulcha. Taste wise i didn't like much as it was like a paratha and not kulcha. I feel better kulchas can be found at various other places. Just 4 types of kulchas, lassi and extra butter , that's a half page menu here. Starting price is 110. And one last disappointing thing , this is a cash only place, very few such places. I definitely wouldn't be visiting again.

The very famous Amritsari Kulcha wala of Vadodara. They have varieties of stuffing for Kulcha available. Attaching one of the pic from my recent visit where I ordered cheese Kulcha. It was served with chhole and cut onion in tamarind syrup. The taste of Kulcha is so good that you won't need chhole at all. This place is always very crowded. You have to go there well in advance. There is no booking of table done. It is always first come first serve basis. But considering the amount of food, it is bit costly. 1 piece of Kulcha stuffed with cheese 🧀 costs around 160/- which is highly expensive and I think is not at all justifiable. Yes but to taste it you can visit and try it once. Full marks for taste 🙌 But expensive. Recommend to visit once. 👍 I hope this review is helpful.

We have been there on festival day yet we found their service and food really nice. Only thing we found is their price is respectively little low compared to other kulcha bakers in Baroda as well as Ahmedabad but the taste they service is good. There was so much of space to sit and chill around this place but you have to wait as they have lots of parcel orders. Although they do not serve exact same taste as served in Punjab and Amritsar but it is very similar to it. All in all I would say if you like Chole I Kulche you should try this place once. The is place is old and over hyped place so please bare in mind that you will get decent food but ok service and log. Waiting time. All in all ok type of experience at kulcha wala.

The Amritsar kulchas at this particular place offer a glimpse into the traditional flavors of Punjab. As you approach, the aroma of freshly baked bread wafts through the air, enticing your senses. The setting might be modest, but it's the taste that truly captivates.

The kulchas themselves are a delight to behold - golden and slightly charred from the tandoor, they promise a satisfying crunch on the outside while remaining soft inside. The assortment of fillings showcases the diversity of options available, from the classic potato and onion to the more indulgent paneer or spicy keema.

One can't help but notice the liberal use of ghee or butter, which imparts a rich and authentic touch to the experience. However, it's worth considering that this might not be the healthiest choice for those watching their dietary intake.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the chole (spiced chickpea curry) that accompanies the kulchas. The balance of spices and flavors is just right, complementing the bread beautifully. The tanginess of the tamarind and the warmth of the spices create a symphony of taste.

However, the place's popularity might lead to long lines or crowded seating, impacting the overall comfort of the dining experience. Additionally, maintaining consistency in preparation can sometimes be a challenge, resulting in variations in taste from one visit to another.

Despite these minor considerations, the Amritsar kulchas at this place provide an authentic and satisfying culinary journey. For those seeking a taste of North Indian comfort food, the flavors and aromas on offer are a delicious invitation to explore the vibrant...
