I am extremely disappointed with the service provided at Aashiyana. Despite making detailed arrangements and discussing our expectations in advance, the execution fell far short of what was promised.
Firstly, the hygiene standards were appalling. The food was prepared on a dirty table, and the table mat was unclean. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety.
Moreover, the behavior of the catering staff was highly unprofessional. More than 50 staff members began having dinner during the event, neglecting their duty to serve the guests. They were seen eating amongst themselves and instructing guests to serve themselves, which was disrespectful and tarnished the experience.
The decoration was another major letdown. Despite providing reference images and discussing the decor, the entrance gate decoration was incomplete and did not match our expectations. Despite requesting completion, nothing was done, and the entrance was poorly decorated, creating a disappointing first impression.
Additionally, the background noise from a concurrent marriage function disrupted the reception, as the entrance gate was blocked, causing inconvenience to guests trying to enter. Furthermore, the audio systems were not arranged on time, despite repeated requests, only being set up 30 minutes after the occasion started, which impacted the overall experience. Lastly, the stage decoration did not meet our expectations. The swags were too small, and there was too much gap between the flowers, not matching the images shown or discussed.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, hygiene, and adherence to agreed-upon arrangements made our special occasion a disappointment. We expected better from [Event Venue] and hope that they can improve their services...
Read moreAshiyana Restaurant isn’t just about food — it’s about feelings on a plate. There’s something incredibly rare about walking into a restaurant and instantly feeling like you've been here before, even if it’s your first time. The ambience carries a quiet warmth — not overdone, not underwhelming — just perfectly inviting, like an old friend’s living room.
What sets this place apart isn’t just the flavors (which are soulful, balanced, and never pretentious), but the intention behind everything — from the placement of spices to the pacing of service. It’s as if the kitchen and staff have mastered the art of knowing what you need before you even ask.
One of the small but unforgettable touches? The way they serve water infused with herbs or lemon — a small act that says, “We care.” That kind of attention to detail is rare these days.
Whether you're here for a comforting thali or just passing by for a quick bite, Ashiyana wraps you in comfort like a well-worn shawl on a breezy evening.
Thank you to the team for reminding me that good food is not just cooked — it's cared...
Read moreAs a guest at 13-02-2024, I was disappointed by the overall experience. The food preparation was concerning, as it was done on a dirty table with unclean table mats. The behavior of the catering staff was unprofessional, as they prioritized their own dinner over serving guests, instructing us to serve ourselves. The decoration, especially at the entrance gate, was incomplete and did not meet our expectations, despite assurances that it would be completed. This, coupled with the disruption caused by background noise from another event and the delayed setup of audio systems, made it challenging to fully enjoy the occasion. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and professionalism detracted from what should have been a special event.
Despite these issues, I appreciate the efforts of the event organizers to address some of the concerns. However, I hope that in the future, greater care will be taken to ensure that such issues do not occur, as they significantly impact the overall...
