Let me give you a review on this Being a non veg lover, i am visiting this place frequently since like 12 years. The taste was better and they always keep on improving. No day that any of the items ordered was not good. Yeah they dont have fish or prawns but they really serve the best chicken curries you can get in the town here. True, authetic punjabis are who they are and what they serve. Love seeing the dada sitting at the counter who will always have a smile on the face alongwith managing the jam packed hotel. The taste is beyond good. May it be soups, starters, main course or desserts, they prove it that they are the best. Haven't had veg much but non veg is just way amazing. If you are ever to go therr, do try chicken tandoori, bhuna chicken and avkul special boneless chicken and egg fried rice. If you are an outsider coming here for food, you'll miss this place for a long long time. A must go if you are here. Every few months we come to Vidyanagar, Gujarat, and on every trip we came for lunch or dinner at Avkul. All these yrs. we were happy with everything we ate at this restaurant. On our last trip in Jan.2017 we had very unpleasant experience with quality of chicken, we ordered several items from menu, 2 chicken items were horrible in taste, chewy or not fully cooked. Service and atmosphere were very good, however nonveg items were very disappointing. Also, this place has done very impressive interior renovation, but its restrooms(both mens and females) were horrible in shape, and also dirty too, worse is they are outside, so if it is raining then you have a problem esp. if you are well dressed.After about 10 yrs. now on our next trip we decided to try a newer place, but...

The ambiance here is awesome in the nearby area. The food was good and the delicacies can be customized. The cook will prepare the taste for various items, precisely as per the instructions given. Overall it can be a nice experience for one who seeks for authentic Punjabi dishes and a variety of preparations. Entrance to the premise and parking has a scope for improvement. Also, electrical sockets be provided for customers. Wooden partitions are of temporary kind and may fall along with one who is taking support of it. Dangerous for a public place.
