I recently visited Baba Deep Singh Dhaba and Restaurant at Aslali Cross Road, hoping for a delightful vegetarian dining experience. Unfortunately, my overall impression was far from satisfactory.
The restaurant's ambiance left much to be desired, lacking the inviting atmosphere one would expect from a dhaba. The staff's service and hospitality were subpar, contributing to an overall underwhelming experience. Even on weekdays, the service was notably slow, which added to my disappointment.
Parking, while available, was limited due to the restaurant's proximity to the highway, creating an inconvenience for patrons. As for the food, I ordered a variety of dishes, including sev tomato, paneer tikka masala, butter tandoori roti, jeera rice and dal tadka. Regrettably, the flavors and quality of the dishes failed to meet my expectations for a dhaba.
The sev tomato lacked the authentic taste I was anticipating, and the paneer tikka masala failed to impress with its flavor profile. The butter tandoori roti, jeera rice and dal tadka also fell short of delivering the satisfying dhaba experience I had hoped for.
In summary, my visit to Baba Deep Singh Dhaba and Restaurant was marked by a disappointing ambiance, lackluster service, slow response times, limited parking, and below-par food quality. It's safe to say that I won't be returning, and I would advise others to explore alternative dining options for a more...
Read moreIf you are interested to eat authentic Punjabi food, you can give this a try. This place has cots to sit as well as table chair seating arrangement. They have two sections The one I went to was the dhaba and they also have a restaurant setup.
The food is good. We were a group of 6 friends. We ordered their Makke Di Roti along with the Sarso ka Saag. The taste was authentic. Also tried their famous Punjabi Lassi. One glass can be shared by two. Their naan and laccha Paratha is also good along with the Paneer Sabji. Overall you should visit it. The cost was around 1200 for 6 of us. It is a good option to try Punjabi food. However location wise, it is far from the actual city and can get a bit isolated from the main city area. However you should try it atleast once. If you want to taste good food, then this is the place to go. Ambience is okay. Overall a...
