The food was delicious and of good quality. The mutton and chicken portion is excellent. Some items on the menu are labeled "double chili." And when you order that item, they individually phone you and request that it be extra spicy. So, do you feel comfortable with it? However, double-chili-marked items are not particularly chili-hot. I believe mutton or chicken must be that much chili-hot. Previously, I ordered a normal marked item. However, it tasted far less like chili to me. So, personally, I prefer foods labeled as one or two chili-hot.
Everything is excellent, including the quantity and packaging. However, their menu items are not for single-person office orders but rather for families.
The minimum order for biryani is one kilogram. As a result, a person cannot eat just a small amount of curry, roti, and biryani.
The quantity of food is adequate, so I typically order while I am at home on vacation. So, I can eat the leftovers the next day.
I can't order items in my office. So, it is my humble request to the owner that they please arrange items for single-person office orders. At present your all items quantity is for two or three persons.
One other request is please add Roti and Rotla to the menu. Because arranging only Roti or Rotla from other restaurants is a bit difficult.
So, my final recommendation to everybody is to taste all items. Because their items are good in taste and good in quantity...
Read moreI was on for it from a very long time. I love biryani and have tried them in Hyderbad, Bhubaneswar, vizag, pune to name a few places. Each place have their own king of segment but baroda doesn't have one. I haven't had any good non veg Biryani here. Sometimes taste is good and pieces don't come good and vice versa. Ok so i went for pickup. Dum pukht Mutton i chose and they serve it in a black clay pot - i dont know how effectively that clay is safe for food. But anyways the biryani looked awesome - 50% battle is won when u make your food look great. It tasted good - the best thing - there was no compromise done on quantity and quality of pieces. I have not atleast came across any restaurant serving such good pieces. It just enriched the experience. The taste was really good i finally had a pleasant biryani in baroda. The balance of spices was maintained really good and yes biryani dint seem oily - important thing. Yes, the overall quantity which seemed okayish - 1 biryani cannot suffice 2 people completely. The price might be a bit on costlier side but good things come at a price . As long as the quality is maintained i wont won't mind paying that price....
Read moreSince I ordered via Zomato, I can not comment on the atmosphere of the restaurant. The Hyderabadi Biryani was bang on taste. Very flavorful. I had a special request for less spicy ,due to which I received a call from the restaurant explaining to me that Hyderabadi Biryani is usually spicy and they would try their best to manage the spiciness. I must say they didn't disappoint. Taste - Flavorful , welll balanced Presentation - in an earthen pot Temperature - Piping 🔥 hot. Unfortunately, I didn't click the pics of the dish, but I'm posting 2 pics that can help you. And yes, I will definitely order again. 🍻 CHEERS !! TEAM - Bendy's Kitchen
Yesterday ( about a month later) Ordered Mutton Biryani, which was very very disappointing. We ordered Lucknowi mutton Biryani and Chicken with mild gravy. While the chicken gravy was ok... the mutton Biryani was horrid. It was filled with fat and barely a piece or two of meat. The taste on the whole was not upto the mark. Don't think I will order again....
