What a great place to visit!! We were on our way from lord sarangpur hanuman temple to our home, We were having a great day and it was a lunch time, so we asked some people there for having a good food and place to enjoy some time. We got a recommendation from a sweet seller about this place called "bhal no nesh"
Initially the name sounds strange and bit awkward, as we have never heard this kind a name or language ever before. So we were discussing for the visit if it will be good experience or a terrible nightmare, as we all were hungry and we didn't want to experiment. Later the discussion ends with the decision of have a look and experience the place at least once as it sounds something new.
We all routed up to bhal no nesh, and the best thing to route there was they have accurate Google position , even after being it in to village in India. They even have map on their visiting card and a bar code location details. Can u imagine, a place with barcoded Google map stats, in the villages. Indeed India is getting better day by day. Ok, back to the point, so this little things excited me more even before visiting the place.
On our way, we saw a beautiful farm with a structure made up with bamboos and all, we thought this might be someone's home, but guess what , that was our destination for the food. Wow , so i was getting more and more curious to step in after the first sight from the our way.
We reached there, it was cloudy weather with some cool breeze. The nature was at it best. We stepped in, as soon as we stepped, the great heavy voice with so much politeness and kindness, "welcome, welcome. Please be sitted or take a rest before go for the food as there were bedstead too for some quick power nap or just for the enjoying nature.but we proceed to having a lunch as we were starving. Now again that guy who welcomed us earlier came back, so we asked for varieties over there. And he suggested some of their special dishes , so we decided to order.
While waiting for the order, i started to look out for the place and atmosphere which I said it was cloudy. So the land was roughly about 100 vighas. The nature , the rain, the breeze, the view all were so at their best, that it gives me so much positive vibes that I fell in love with that place. Food was served on the table by now, so i was bit nervous about the taste as it was the first time experience. But wow, what a food! What a great taste! What a positive aura created with that first bite. Wow. It was made from pure organic veggies and spices and even "ghee" , the all things were farmed, picked, made, processed from that farm only. Wow, amazing taste. I ate almost double then my capacity. But magic of those organics was so amazing that it took only half hour to digest even after this much of over eating. Great experience for the food.
Now let me tell you about the guy I have mentioned earlier. MR BHARATBHAI. the man with full of energy, kindness , politeness, and with the great aura. The way he welcomes, the way he suggests, the way he treats their staff and the mainly the way he treats his visitors who comes for food. The great man with great golden heart. His persona makes the whole place and food more special with his charming aura. Wow
As what I have experienced there I told, i must say or this place must be visited atleast once in a monsoon or winters.
Bharat bhai love, respect and regards. Keep progressing,
Regards, From unknown stranger turned to great...

Read moreI would recommend "Bhal no Nes" as a must stop place if you're travelling from Ahmedabad to visit Shri Kashtabhanjan Salangpur Hanumanji Temple. This restaurant is not like any city food joint where you go have food, pay and leave. The entire village and farm based experience is ambiance you is just an amazing pleasure in itself. We reached at the plave at around 5:15 pm in the evening, and just leisurely retired ourselves on the cots laid outside in the fields and inside the restaurant. Then around 06:30 p.m. dinner was served as people starting filling the entire place. The owner of the restaurant, Mr. Bharat Bhai is a lovely and jovial person who not just takes you around the place, but will guide you what food preference you should have and the preparation method for the curry ordered. I would recommend the Khajur no shak, Akhrot no shak along with Panch Dana Rotlo, Makka no Rotlo, the farm made white butter, ghee (a must have) to everyone visiting. Lastly, after having dinner you can relax to the extent you need gazing at the open sky in the night giving you a surreal experience of village living, which often gets missed by us living in...
