Dear Shweta,
With due respect, keep an open mind on constructive critisism. We realize you have your craft and take pride in it. With all you said we as customers have certain standards that you couldn't meet.
Whatever happened today it was not just you who was disappointed, It was someone's special day too! so with PLEASURE we are happy to never place an order and also to always convey to our mutuals to be careful when they want to place an order with you.(No need to personally adress the customer next time).
Maybe you don't understand the thin line between professionalism and being rude. Your assistant recorded the whole conversation that we had, please put it forward as a proof of us disrespecting your craft.
THANKS FROM THE PERSON WHO ACCOMPANIED AVNI.
WISH YOU THE BEST! -KRISHA.
Also this is your message that made us write a review because we are blocked on whatsapp by you and this is our message to claim you did nothing to help even after your mistake:-
Dear Avni,
Please convey this message to the person who accompanied you to pick up the cake.
Thank you for choosing not to purchase the cake. Our creations are crafted with love, dedication, and utmost care, and we believe that celebrations should be about spreading joy, not about disrespecting someone’s hard work and artistry. While we always strive to meet expectations, it does not justify the use of rude or hurtful language towards any individual or team.
At the time, I was away, engaged in learning and growing in my craft, something that is deeply important to me. I regret not being able to address this matter in person, but I cannot overlook the behavior displayed. Speaking to someone in such a disrespectful manner is unacceptable and far from the values we uphold.
For us, baking is an art, and selling our work to someone who fails to appreciate that would compromise the integrity of what we do. Therefore, we kindly request that you refrain from placing any future orders with us. Our team takes immense pride in creating a positive, respectful environment, and we will always stand by that...
Read moreI ordered from her multiple times purely because I knew her and wanted to support her work. But every single time has been a disappointment. The last cake I received was completely stale the cream had clearly gone bad, the taste was off, and it was obvious it wasn’t freshly made. When I informed her, she sent a replacement, but even that was stale. If I’m complaining about a stale product, sending another one just as bad isn’t fixing the issue it’s insulting. I let it slide before out of courtesy, but this level of negligence and lack of care is unacceptable.
What’s even worse than the product is the way she handles feedback with arrogance, attitude, and complete lack of responsibility. She speaks to people as if she’s doing them a favour by taking their money. No apology, no humility, just passive aggression and deflection. She ruins not just your order, but your mood, your occasion, and any chance of trusting her again. If you’re okay being served stale dessert with a side of entitlement, go ahead and order. But if you value your money and your peace of mind,...
Read moreI have been associated with Cakeolates since 2020 and ever since i have been ordering cakes from Shweta. She knows her cakes and flavours really well and i have never been disappointed by her services. It is quick and never delayed. I love her cakes, cookies and brownies. Must try cakes is Rasmali cake and Nutella fudge cake.
Her customer service through WhatsApp is quick. I have always got instant replies and the staff is very helpful at suggesting options. They get the cakes delivered on time and always try to make my celebrations wholesome !!
The other thing i really like is that Shweta tries to bring new flavours like Kunafa Chocolate and Matilda cake which are made to perfection!!
I ordered my Engagement cake from her which was a three tier cake and she managed to deliver it on time even when the venue was 45 mins or more from her studio. Hats off to the hardwork and patience !!
More love and more power to Cakeolates...
