Dosa Plaza is a restaurant with all sorts of South Indian food, like fancy dosas and uttapams, but they also have Punjabi, Chinese dishes. Their menu is HUGE, with about 400 items! It's so big it's confusing to choose what to eat.
We tried a few things:
Ghee Mini Idli: These were yummy!
Mix Uttapam: This usually has onion and tomato, but they added green pepper too, which made it kind of weird to look at and eat.
Podi Dosa: Don't get this! We hated it.
American Delight Dosa: This one's good, filled with fun stuff.
Masala Buttermilk: Just okay, stick to the regular Buttermilk.
Sambar & Coconut Chutney: Luckily, these were good!
My tip: Before you order, ask how they make the dish. Just because the name sounds like something you know, it might be different!
The restaurant itself is nice and clean, with a good seating area. It gets busy on weekends, though. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
In short: Dosa Plaza has a ton of food, but be careful what you order! Some things are good, others not so much. The ambience is...
Read moreWe had dinner at this restaurant but the food was not at all up to the mark. The dosas felt like they were cooked a few days ago & they were too chewy. I would not recommend going here to eat at all.
On top of that, we organised a function in their banquet hall but the charges of food were ₹400 per dish which is too costly & it only had 7-8 items (including common food items like roti, papad & buttermilk). They don't offer you a choice they will directly refuse if you give them their own menu. We asked them to decorate the hall & they shared a few pics with us, in those pics there was a sofa present for the person of attention & just normal flowers behind. For this bakwass setup they charge you ₹3000 and they didn't even provide a sofa when we reached there. Worst customer service & worst hall to be used for any kind of function.
Do not at all costs go here. They are just looting people with the worst...
Read moreThis place has surprisingly good ambiance. It is covered with green grass and it's sofas are reallu comfortable. The lighting on the ceiling is very oretty and the the overall structure just looks fantastic. The mirrors on the wall show the prettiest one of them all.
It used to be on the other side of the road but now they have shifted. And the best part is that their food tastes great as well. The South Indian cuisine here is mind blowing. Especially the dosas.
And to top it all off, it isn't very expensive either. The value for...
