Epitome Restaurant & Banquet — Restaurant in Gujarat

When I visited this restaurant for lunch in August 2021 the food was exceptional. Then I started going there every week. Here are the points I noticed. Buffet's food quality was worse. As compared to my previous visits kaju curry was watery. Same goes with starters. They gave vanilla ice-cream with tutti frutti which I believe doesn't fit with the price which they are charging. Buffet goes for Rs. 275. You can always find better starters at cheaper restaurant. I have tried paneer chilli, manchurian, spring rolls, green kabeb(their buffet starter) and cheese balls(or something similar). They were all disappointing. What I have noticed is food quality goes further down in sundays. My last visit there was yesterday 31st October 2021, I found food to be worse. When I pay high price for food I expect it to be better than average restaurant but according to yesterday's food they served it was clear that now they don't care about quality.

I would add that, the food quality was much more good before. I would recommend it to anyone searching for good restaurant but after yesterday's meal I am not recommending it to anyone. I would recommend rather cook food at home then going to epitome. There are so many good reviews about this restaurant and I am sure they are true. I also went there for 6 times but not any more. Food quality isn't what it used to be. Don't go here, now restaurant doesn't care about...

I trusted the web reviews & went here. The experience was bad right from start. We were given used straws. Later they replaced them without apologies. 2 out of 4 dishes were not washed, so I got them changed; again without apologies. The waiter / server was absolutely not concerned about us. He did not know half the menu. Later when the hand wash bowls were given, the bowls & plate were so dirty as if it was already used. I finally asked for the manager. The waiter got one person who claimed to be a manager... which I doubt since I had seen him serve food to other tables... But more because later when I was exiting the restaurant, I literally saw the guy claiming to be manager... laughing & making fun with the waiter who served my table !!! I will make it a point to let ALL of my contacts know about...

Situated on narola naroda highway...on the end of bridge can be easily spotted hence full giving full marks on location. Once inside via stairs which means the premise is situated on first floor. We can see two entrances one is running restaurant and another is an banquet hall. We visited the banquet to attend the wedding, the banquet can handle 150 to 200 person however if you wish to have larger crowd then you can feel uneasiness and space crunch, cramped. The floor to ceiling height is disappointing and wonder if could be better. space is designated for bride and bridegroom for the function. Liked the rest room which is spic and span.
