Honest Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

Ordered food to be delivered using zomato. Their pav bhaji had a glass of oil floating on top (we actually poured it into a glass to measure). And bhaji tasted like it had been re-cooked for weeks. When we called them to complain Mr Deepak was very rude and hung up the phone 3 times. He said thats how they make their "special" bhaji pav and told us to do what we want. He also said it is the delivery company Zomato's fault.. how is that possible? They basically delivered the rubbish food that was prepared by Honest in Paldi!

These kind of restaurant do not deserve customers and anyone deciding to use them should think twice. They are ruining the name of a known brand and losing regular customers.

I hope the owner of this restaurant franchise reads this and sends the staff for training on how to speak to customers and how to serve decent...

I am a chef from Bangalore, visiting Ahmedabad for the first time. On 27 Dec 2018. 11.30pm. Near Paldi post office. Ordered Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani after asking the supervisor whether it is dum Biriyani or just tossed rice with masala. He said its dum. After serving i found its the same tomato masala rice. I asked him to replace it the supervisor said "This is how we prepare and this is the recepie of HDBiriyani. I couldn't stop laughing. I told him i cant pay for this kindly change the dish. Supervisor was very rude and told he cant change also it would be charged. I said fine i will pay for it call the manager i will explain him and tell him to either change the menu or the recepie. Manager never came. I left the restaurant with dejection and...

We've heard stories from people before that their experience in any of the Honest Restaurants wasn't a pleasant one, rather it was a complete disappointment. Despite this we risked going there as there weren't other options around providing the time of the day. After going there we thought it'd have been better had we stayed hungry that night. Every food that we ordered had to be sent back and made it correct. The soup was thinner than water. Dal fry was served with no cummins and garlic. Gobi masala, which cost us 200/- had just 4 chunks of cauliflower amidst the ocean of masala. And when we confronted the manager about this, he said if we didn't like the food, simply drop a negative review about them. Let alone the food, his attitude...
