Kodiyar Dhaba is an amazing place to enjoy authentic and flavorful food. I recently visited and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our meal was the khichadi, which was so delicious and comforting that we couldn’t stop eating it. Along with that, we had papad, sev tamatar, chaas, and undhiyu, all of which were equally tasty and well-prepared.

The food was fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced, capturing the essence of traditional recipes. The sev tamatar had a rich, tangy taste, and the undhiyu was packed with vegetables and spices, making it absolutely delightful. The chaas was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for money. The service was quick and efficient, with friendly staff ensuring we had everything we needed. Despite being busy, the food arrived on time and was served hot.

The ambiance of the dhaba was simple yet welcoming, ideal for families and friends. It had a traditional charm that added to the experience.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. While the ambiance was quite good and the service was fast, the overall experience was ruined due to serious concerns about food quality and staff behavior.

We were served a vegetable dish (Umbadiyu) that was clearly expired and had a bad taste. Upon informing the staff, they immediately canceled the order, which seemed like a responsible action. However, it became clear that they already knew the food was expired before serving it. This raises major concerns about hygiene and food safety.

Another major issue was the behavior of the waiters. They were extremely rude, and it seemed like they did not respect us as customers. As travelers from outside Gujarat, we felt like they were treating us differently, assuming we wouldn’t notice or complain. Such discrimination and unprofessionalism are unacceptable.
