Read moreYes, It's worth the hype. Idli ghar was getting so much popularity in Ahmedabad and after trying their entire menu, Now I know why. Currently, this is my number 1 breakfast place and there isn't a single thing that I don't like about this place. The taste, quality and quantity, A perfect trio to judge any food place and idli ghar totally nails them all. My favourite item on the menu has to be meduvada, very very delicious especially with that really yummy white chutney. Idli, masala idli and upma are also good. The hygiene is extremely well maintained, they always use gloves and thing that impressed me most is the cooking oil they are using for medu vada, it was crystal clear unlike some other street food where it's all Balck and unhealthy. Service is really great they welcome you with a smile and always treat you nicely. I wasn't expecting this but there is also live music! For the price some people might find it just slightly expensive but if you are someone like me who doesn't mind paying little bit extra for better hygiene and food quality then you shouldn't have a...

But service is worst.
I ordered one Dosa & one Masala Dosa and paid for the same. First they served only Masala Dosa & they didn't give the normal Dosa. I think, they'll be making the normal Dosa and will serve soon.
But, after finishing my Masala dosa I asked about my second Dosa. They served it & the girl on the billing counter billed again for it (I was not aware about the second bill).
After finishing my food, me & friend was leaving the restaurant., the girl on the billing counter rushed to us & told me to pay for the second Dosa.
I went back & tild the whole story. She checked the previous bill and allowed us to leave.
I don't know, what their staff at the counter checking with the bill.
They just collect the bill and simply keep it.
Irresponsible staff....
