Detailed-One of the best joints in Ahmedabad.Magic Chicken is well known for its quality and the food they serve.The Owner is a Muslim malyali who had been to Dubai and brought some recipes here in India.They have only 4 items in the Menu but still it is one of the biggest food joints in Ahmedabad.I have been going to this joint for like 2-3 years and every time the taste and flavour is the exact same.

The most sought after item from the menu is the Shawarma there are two variants one being a normal one and another one Special,The only difference in them is what they put inside it and the fact that Special is 20Rs more expensive than the normal one.It is one of the best Shawarmas you would ever taste not only in India but also abroad.It is served with a sachet of Tomato Ketchup and 2 Slices of flavoured Carrot which taste amazingly awesome considering its just addition with it.

Another most sold item is the Alfam it is like tandoori chicken but it is spicier and it is cooked without any kind of oil.It cooks in the oil of the chicken itself and tastes amazingly good with the Khuboos served with it and just to make clear Khuboos is kind of a bread mostly eatenn in the middle East.It is kind of a thick tandoori roti.The Khuboos just mediates the chilly taste of the Alfam and makes it easy to eat.

A Grilled Chicken joint which also serves a desi version of KFC, Magic Chicken does NOT have the ambience or air-conditioners to make you feel at home. What I liked most about this small beauty is that they have a concentrated menu, they serve the chicken hot, and the service is personal. The waiters are keen to serve you. Surprisingly for a joint which could be called street food, it is very clean. They also provide you a bottle of water upon request. So sweet of em'. Don't be surprised to see luxurious cars and suvs stopping by to pick these delicacies. You should know you're in good company. The joint is easy on the pockets too. What else does one need in these horrid inflation times? The Grilled Chicken, which is called the Shavai, is served with two cups of mayonnaise and some side salad. Half grilled chicken is enough for a person with medium appetite. I personally didn't like the desi version of their KFC chicken, but it was edible nonetheless.
