Maharaj Sandwich & Pizza — Restaurant in Gujarat

Best place to eatout with friends and also to take-away for your loved ones. Story: The owner started from a very small stall(laari) selling sandwich, dabeli, vadapav and puff in Ramnagar near Ramji mandir and with his hardship and people's love and blessings the owner now runs the business with a large shop and still having same taste and quality as before. Owner, his son and co-worker all are fun loving and love to feed you. The store sells a far more food products/things you require and all are healthy and supreme quality. The sandwich, puff and pizza are still forever same taste as before. Most popular and must eat food item you must have. To my personal taste, I like sandwich, pizza and bhel alot but you can also have dabeli, vadapav, muskabun and several other products as well. They even provide cakes, chocolates, soft-drinks and other major sides you would love to have with your snack.

At last, must try once...

Went in for Sandwiches here. In the menu item, first two sandwiches were veg sandwiches and chutney sandwiches. Both prices at 60 and 50 respectively. Now I ordered cheese versions of those. To my surprise the bill came to 230 and I was wondering how come the amount shooted up to 230 and checked the menu again to find the cheese versions were +₹60 😂 And I thought how much cheese I can get in ₹60 and all I received was a medium layer of cheese. I get that for cheese you can charge premium but doubling the price for single ingredient was a bit too much in my opinion.

I would suggest that you go for without cheese items which were equally good and don't fall in the trap of premiums as I did. 🫡

Maharaj Sandwich & Pizza, a name well-known amongst foodies of Sabarmati area since mid 80s...

I still remember, he was standing with a Cart in those days. I have tasted Sandwiches, Dabeli, Oven baked Pizza in those days and I can say, some things never change time. They have maintained the same taste in now days also...

Time passes and eventually they shifted to small Shop from Cart, from small shop to big and even bigger, but no taste changed. They have some staff unchanged from those days...

Now a days, they have opened a new Urban Sandwich Shop.
