New Jawahar Restaurant — Restaurant in Gujarat

If it were upto me... I would rate this restaurant 10 outta 5 [Double] for Veg. Food & 10 outta 5 [Double] for Service. Even though a small restaurant [Not a Fine dine] ... The service and the food here are quite exceptional. A Special Shout-out to the Captain there Named Sourabh. Who is essentially one of the Best and Warmest people I have met. Even though this was only our 2nd visit [August] and our 1st visit was in May. He instantly recognized us and professionally jumped into gear to make us feel welcomed and special. He knew from the last visit what we wanted to eat and also suggested the current specials...offering my Mother and us a tasting-bowl. The food there even though Pure-Vegetarian [And, me being a Devout Non-vegetarian] is made to perfection [Kudos to the Awesome Chef who gets it right beautifully every-freaking time... With all dishes... I joke with my Vegtrn.driver..."Agar tu mujhe week mein 5 times yahan layega.. Mein vegetarian banne tayaar hun".... But, its worthy of a visit if you are in Navsari [Near the station-3 mins. away] or headed to Dandi for Gandhi. In winters the Undiyon is drool-worthy and special mentions to all year Baigan Bharta [Mashed Spiced Aubergine], Sev-Tamatar [Sev Tomato Mash] and The Kadhi Rice [Yellow Chana daal with Milk Dahi] is to die for... I am drooling and missing it as i freakin'write this review.. Lol. They also sell Pickles and Salted chilli which are fun...

Good place for late night snacks. You find almost everything here during late hours. Pretty crowded. An option to eat junk food when there is nothing available in the city. i think this is the best restaurant in navasri . it's near raliway station . You can find it Gujarati .Punjabi . Chinese also in low price. Owner and staff are very good. If you're visiting navasri stay in Gupta hotel n eat food in this restaurant.. paytm accept here . credit card debit card .it's personally experience.Hope you find this review helpful to make a choice.
