Nilkanth Bhojanam — Restaurant in Gujarat

Visited Neelkanth Bhojanam restaurant on 24th July 2025 for lunch during my trip to Jamnagar. The place is located near the Reliance and Naira refinery, a well-known landmark in the area. It's a popular spot, especially for its thali meals, and fairly easy to spot. There’s ample parking space, which is always a big plus when you're travelling.

I opted for their Gujarati thali, which included around three sabzis — aloo sabzi and sev bhaji being the highlights. They also served shrikhand as dessert, and offered a choice between bajre ki roti and regular roti, both served with ghee. Along with that came chhaas (buttermilk) which was refreshing and perfectly complemented the meal. The food was simple, homely, and tasty — exactly what you'd want on a road trip.

The place was clean, spacious, and felt very family-friendly. Service was polite and quick. Pricing was also quite reasonable — definitely value for money considering the quality and quantity.

Overall, I'd say Neelkanth Bhojanam is a great option for lunch if you’re anywhere near the Jamnagar refinery area. Highly recommended for a satisfying and relaxed thali...

Neelkanth is a no frills restaurant known for its Gujarati food. The standard thali has 4 sabzi, daal and kadhi, Chapati, puri and rotlo. Curd, shrikhand and butter milk can be purchased at a extra cost. The service is prompt and food is served hot. Ithe taste is also moderate, almost home cooked food taste feel it is worth 140 RS.
