Raju Omlet Centre-ROC — Restaurant in Gujarat

Having acquired new and clean interiors, this place is nothing short of a legend for foodies of not only Vadodara but also spanning Gujarat and beyond.

And it suffers from its legendary status. They have trimmed the menu for sure, and it's okay as some popular dishes are still available. We ordered their famous "Gotala" and "Boil crush bhurji"(egg bhurji made by grating/crushing boiled eggs) without second thoughts. And added fancy ones like "Boil crush bhurji wrap"(the crush bhurji in an omlette wrap) on the owner/manager's suggestion, and "Shahi tukda"(not to be confused with the OG dessert). Did the look catchy enough? Very much. Did they deliver what was promised? Quite so. As for the taste, YMMV. In the end it just seems eggs with excess of butter and spices, especially chilli powder. And there was little to differentiate as everything was simply too hot(not temperature rather spice scale). Doesn't go down well. And for the service, despite a restaurant like seating, one's food is to be collected from a counter and not delivered on table. Even though we were the only ones to dine at the time!

They surely lack innovation and thinking beyond excess of butter and spices. They do get a creative lot with how they prepare but somehow ruin it; might justify the price but not the taste. I'd rather contend with...

This is one of the top 3 places for me. It is very high up in my favorite food list. Such an amazing place to eat. Right in the heart of the city. That guy is so good with his eggs. He keeps churning out dishes one by one. There is a menu but who needs a menu for eggs? Bhurjis and tikkas and the boils and half fries.. you get everything. The amount of butter this guy uses is huge, it's humongous. I can guarantee that I haven't eaten this much butter in my life. But seriously, hygiene level is top notch, food quality is amazing. Service is awsome. Taste is so good you have to eat here to believe it. Definitely recommended. You have to eat here. There is no other option. Thank you Raju Omlette for amazing tasty...

Their food is adequate and palatable enough to satiate you in taste whenever they serve. all not but whichever egg recipes they have on their menu was up to my requirements in each segment, whether there's a point of hygienic behavior or their staff's timely service everything is just getting better every time I visit. I shouldn't forget to tell that there is enough space to park your two wheeler as well as four wheeler for some short time period. I am taking one star because, they're still not making a room for sitting 😉. I always request them to enlarge their space make some area available who wants to seat and eat. Let see when it happens. Otherwise you'll definitely enjoy...
