A well-known "Free Bhojnalaya" or "Annakshetra" (community kitchen) run by the Shree Somnath Trust. This facility provides free meals (Prasad) to devotees and pilgrims visiting the Somnath Temple. Here's what you should know about it: Managed by Shree Somnath Trust: The official temple trust is responsible for operating this free food service as an act of "Annadan Mahadan" (the great donation of food). Purpose: It aims to ensure that all pilgrims, regardless of their financial background, have access to a basic, nutritious, and wholesome meal during their visit to the sacred shrine. Meals Offered: Typically, the meals are simple, vegetarian, and traditional, often consisting of rice, dal, roti (Indian bread), sabzi (vegetable curry), and sometimes a sweet dish. They are generally served unlimited. Timings: The Bhojnalaya usually operates for both lunch and dinner. Specific timings can vary slightly, but generally, lunch is served in the midday hours and dinner in the evening. It's advisable to confirm the exact timings locally upon your visit. Location: The Somnath Trust Bhojnalaya is located near the main Somnath Temple, often within a short walking distance or accessible by local transport. How to avail: Devotees can usually get free food coupons from a designated counter at the Bhojnalaya itself. Donations: While the meals are free for pilgrims, the Somnath Trust also accepts donations from individuals who wish to contribute to the cause of "Annadan." You can donate for a day's expenses, or for specific occasions like "Tithi Bhojan" in memory of relatives, etc., through the official Somnath Trust website or at the donation counters. This free bhojnalaya is a significant service, upholding the tradition of hospitality and selfless service (seva) that is central to many Hindu...

Free food (prasad) served here to the devotees. You can have lunch and dinner here. The bhojanalaya is run by Shree Somnath Temple Trust. You have to take token before entering to the dining hall. The token is free, however you can donate if you want. The service of food is buffet. There are dining tables where you can have your food. After having food, you have to keep the utensils in a particular place. Major devotees clean their utensils after having the food. The food is good. But the trust need to focus more on the cleanness of the dining area, drinking water area, handwashing area and...

Free food is served here by Shree Somnath Temple Trust which is really a very very good and helpful work done by trust. It is like prasad but we can donate money here You can take lunch and dinner free of cost here. You need to take coupon from windows then you can enter in the hall. Well maintained by trust, food is tasty. Foods are hygienic and there are sitting space available for around 100 people. Its first come first sit basis otherwise you'll need to sit on flow or eat standing. Timing of food: Morning: 11am to 3pm Evening: 7pm to 11 pm
