Visited the place for dinner yesterday. Place is located a bit far from Ahmedabad and serves as a perfect long drive with your loved one. Was really awestruck by the classy interiors both for the club as well as the restaurant. The lighting and interiors were absolutely perfect for a classy dining experience. The main part was the food. How often does food overtake everything else? Well it surely did this time.
Tried the Crema Di verdure Arrosto soup which was really well prepared.
Starters Mustard Brocolli - was absolutely perfect and a must try out here. Thin crust pizza was the best of the lot and surely deserved some compliments. Herbs de Provence potatoes - A really attractive and a tasty dish. Was surely something different.
Mains Patiala Paneer and maa ki daal were really well well cooked.
Desserts Apple pie and J'adore chocolate were surely tempting. Just a bit disappointed by the number of chocolate balls served in one serving. May be the management can look at serving atleast 4 pieces in...
Read moreThe ambience and location is Pristine. For the menu and the Italian feast we were excited to try various things. Couple of things that have scope for significant improvement:
Simple - fresh lime soda, not sure what soda is so flat, I had asked for it a second time and the same flat soda came my way.
Chicken aglo olio appetiser - first our servers could not explain it they kept saying it’s chicken. Anyhow the flavour was close to nill until one scrapes the bottom of the plate for the very little sauce.
Bruschetta trio - only the tomato basil is any good the mushroom and the peppers - one can do a better job at home, there doesn’t need to be pesto on each of the 6 pieces.
Tortellini - again so low on flavours, it was stuffed with mixed vegetables
Overall I felt like I ate a healthy meal with quality ingredients but lacked any flavour, so disappointing for a Sunday night meal and for the price we paid, we can do much better at other hotels / restaurants.
If you’re dining here - stick...
Read moreWow place to spend a good evening with friends and family. The place is located inside Glade One, a gated community with weekend homes, about at hour's drive away from the city. The restaurant faces a water body and has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Recommended to book a table in advance for weekends, since it tends to get full and if you don't get a table here, the waiting time can be long and there's no other place nearby that you can go to. The food menu is limited (especially Indian cuisines), but all the dishes they serve are authentic and made from fresh ingredients - they just look, feel and taste fresh. Avocado toasts were amazing and so were the pizzas. The Spanish Paella could have been a tad better - it tasted more like Risotto. All in all, a good place for a peaceful meal away from the hustle and bustle of the city, especially on winter afternoons and...
