Tea Post — Restaurant in Gujarat

I went there today to have some tea,snacks at 12 midnight on the occasion of my husband's birthday. I carried a small cake there to cut. A waiter came n bluntly said that outside food is not allowed.i told him it's not good..it's a sentiments n already we are in with a cake as it's the birthday occasion.he called himself manager..he was not even looking like a waiter..manager to we cantveven think of..he didn't know how politely you can say no to well mannered, educated customers.. From his phone I spoke to the owner..he too gave me the silly reason that ppl create mess while cutting cake..he doesn't know how unhigenic that interior was..floor was full of dust,dirt n food items lying here n there and full of mosquito..no AC effect.."hamare cake cutting se kya hi aur mess ho jata" He also told me.i take ur suggestion to allow this to cut the cake but ppl around you will see u cutting the cake now n get theirs the next time so you may sit outside inspite he knew it was raining n benches chairs were all wet outside. Ahmedabad is not lacking place or cafe's to cut the cake but their reasons, neglection and way of talking...

I’ve visited this outlet a couple of times now, and while the tea and food are consistently good, there’s a major issue that really needs attention.

The AC has not been working on both my visits, and it’s disappointing that it still hasn’t been fixed. In fact, the situation is worse because the doors are left open and there’s visible smoke or heat haze inside, making it very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy your tea.

Another serious concern is cleanliness and hygiene. The plates were dirty, and there were flies (makhi) around, which is unacceptable for any food outlet. This needs urgent improvement for customer health and comfort.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the place has potential – but without basic hygiene and a comfortable environment, it’s hard...

I was regularly going at this tea post but now I am seeing no thepla available since a month I don’t know what staff is doing. Majorly I was coming in the morning with the milk. Another thing if you sit outside there is a washroom smell is coming. Washroom is not clean and now most of the time it’s under maintenance. If you sit outside lot of makkhi are there plans are not even proper it’s becoming dry. There is no paste control that’s why hygiene and people sit outside they face this issue even inside it comes. Evening rush is there we does understand but in rainy season they should provide something outside so people can sit and chill. Most of the public comes inside due to mess outside and inside there is a lot of rush. Main thing in food is Thepla which is not available in this outlet...
