The Grand Vatika — Restaurant in Gujarat

Recently i held function there. The commitment was not fulfilled by owner of hotel. Food delivered was not warm. They changed allotted room few times so our guest faced numourous problems. In wedding water delivery to guests is important role. I haven't seen even single service man delivering water to guests. Insted of two counters they provided only one counter even though decided to make two counters for food and another counter for biryani. Booked banquet till 9pm at 4 o'clock when i asked to deliver late coming guest food but owner itself bluntly refused. He didn't care even if that guest was VIP of our guest. I asked to serve something from outside or to help by any means but he added that food which has been delivered on buffet will also be taken in few minutes.

Groom side guest felt very bad experience they even told so many thing which we don't want to listen as a father of bride.

My sister's marriage was ruined by this hotel. There was lot of scolding from groom side sasur to my father. That makes me feel never trust any hotel management. Always keep your friends and family as backup plan. We didn't had invited our guest many.

Food delivery on morning breakfast was decided at 7:30 but they started at 8:20. Lunch was delivered on time but not warm, very cold. Suddenly groom's room ac went off, we consider it's act of god. Power went off for sometime. They should have backup generator. I'm not going to hold the payment but I suggest everyone not to book this grand vatika for any kind of event to organise.

Apart from this what i like is the location looked good. Not maintained but good. Papad was roasted amazingly. Evenly roasted everywhere. It felt not roasted in an oven. How they did it that is their mastery..

Hotel The Grand Vatika is located on the Pune-Ahemdabad highway. (while going towards Ahemdabad you will find it on the left side of the road and vice-versa) It's after Bharuch, Near Varedia. It's the best rest-stop you can have. The food available at snacks cafe is delicious. We ordered Cheese grilled sandwich, coffee, tea and Maggie. You won't get disappointed for the taste and quality they offer. The rates of the snacks are little on higher side, but you get tasty, hygeinic food. The menu is big and they serve right from mocktails,shakes, icecream, south indian food, sandwiches, etc etc. Cafe ambience is cool and cleanliness is upto the mark. Ample of parking space available. Absolutely abysmal experience at this so-called "restaurant." The service was an absolute nightmare – it took ages just to get acknowledged by the staff, and when they finally graced us with their presence, they treated us as if we were an inconvenience. As for the food, it was a catastrophic disaster. The dishes were undercooked, over-salted, and utterly tasteless. It's as if the chef had a personal vendetta against flavor. The only thing consistent about this place is its ability to consistently disappoint. Do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment at all costs. You'd have a better dining experience eating microwave...
