The Hauss — Restaurant in Gujarat

I thought long and hard before sharing this review but it didn't sit right with me to not share my experience just because they apologised to us after we wrote about what happened in a feedback form.

The hauss is an expensive place. We're paying for the food, the ambience, the experience and not having to worry about the crowd and our safety. So when I go there I don't expect to be made to feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

My friend and I were having a girl's night out and enjoying ourselves when I felt that I was being watched. I turned to see that 4 people from the kitchen staff were staring at us. I shouted at them from the table and asked what are they doing, that didn't deter them and they kept staring. We called the manager and complained and the manager said "Ma'am they're on the live counter, can't control them"!!!!

In what world is it okay for a manager to talk to a customer like that and not take ownership for his staff! It spoilt our evening and we asked for the cheque and left instantly.

The food was okay but the overall experience was terrible. The table beside us had 5 toddlers and they were running all over the place. One toddler literally put his hands in our drink and then got a straw and started drinking from it. To which the mother said that it's our responsibility to stop the kid and not her's!

So while roaming at night and playing bowling for hours, we were tired and wanted to end evening on beautiful note. We went on zomato and found this place - The Hauss under newly opened paces tab.

We were skeptical about how this cafe turns out to be, but when we reached, we were amazed with the uber cool ambiance. The band performing was not noisy so thats what we wanted. Ordered a few mocktails and just after sipping, we decided that we are dining here.

Ordered Cappuccino de fungi Bruschettas Crystal Vegetable Ravioli Dumpling Broccoli tandoor (starter) Orange Mimosa (mocktail) And choco gingunja (dessert)

The food was yum and prep was excellent. Culinary excellence of Chef Pooja is visible in each dish. No overpowering flavors, no unnecessary use of fancy garnish. Simple yet delicious food. Service was good could have been better but nice.

Food is ultimately super... Best place for all meals, worth the money, food quantity and quality is worth appreacating. Its ambience , atmosphere , decor has my heart. I am just a fan of this resto. Highly recommended to all. Must visit, the best part of this restaurant is they provide so much variety in food and all the cuisine is so tasy and mouth watering.. The service is highly commentable . We didnt faced any issue there and is the best place to go for all occasions. It will make your all occasions blissful. The manager ( jd) was so much helpful and friendly.. In short, it was best. ...
