Village Inn: A Good Experience with Room for Improvement
Village Inn offered a pleasant dining experience with a few areas for improvement. Here's a breakdown of my visit:
Ambiance:The restaurant has a variety of seating arrangements, catering to different preferences. A big plus for families is the dedicated kids' play area, which kept the little ones entertained. They even have rabbits on-site, which were a hit with the children. The overall ambience was positive.
Food:We tried their signature "Village Inn Special Sizzler." The portion size was very generous, perfect for sharing or a very hungry diner. It included pesto pasta, fried rice, mixed vegetables, and a white sauce.
Highlights:The fried rice, vegetables, and tandoori naan with the veg Amritsar gravy were all delicious. The gravy portion was incredibly generous, easily enough for four people.
Lowlights:The white sauce on the sizzler was a disappointment. It was unexpectedly sweet, which wasn't to our taste.
Service:The service at Village Inn was good. Our server was attentive and helpful.
Cleanliness:The ambience was generally clean, but the washrooms could be improved. They would benefit from a bit more attention to detail.
Village Inn offers a good overall dining experience, particularly for families with young children. The food portions are generous, the service is good, and the kids' play area is a plus. With a slight improvement in the white sauce recipe and a focus on washroom cleanliness, Village Inn could be even better.

For lunch, I opted for the panner Manchurian , which was served with a side salad. The Manchurian was very well served and mixed vegetables. The salad was fresh and crisp, with a tangy taste well.
The service was attentive and friendly, with the waitstaff checking in regularly to ensure everything was to my liking. The restaurant also had some animal sections where I picked up some rabbits ..
