Absolutely Disgusted - Navratri Thali Prepared Without Gloves! I visited Balaji Restaurant Near Gol chakkar sector 5 specifically for their Navratri Thali. I was really looking forward to a delicious and religiously appropriate meal. However, my experience quickly turned sour when I witnessed something absolutely appalling in the kitchen. From where I was near to kitchen area, I had a partial view into the kitchen area. I was horrified to see a staff member preparing Kuttu Aata puri and sabu dana padad of the Navratri Thali with their bare hands. Not a single glove in sight! This is completely unacceptable, especially during a time when hygiene and purity are paramount.

And dishwash area also close to cooking area and same person cooking and in mid time he go for cleaning the plates and come back to cook the food again.

By this time I had made up my mind I wont ever buy anything from them but on one occasion due to emergency I had to buy sweets from them. I bought 250gm Kaju Katli (I usually order 500gm but due to their reputation I did not want to take risk). I was so annoyed and disappointed of their product the next day. I recently purchased Ras Malai from Balaji Sweets in Sector 5, Gurgaon, and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The Ras Malai was sour, clearly rotten, emitting a foul smell that indicated it was old and unfit for consumption.
