Dreadful Dining Experience: Arrogant Staff, Unsanitary Food, and Unprofessional Behavior

Rating:☆☆☆☆ ☆(0/5). -ve if possible

As a disgruntled customer, I feel compelled to share my appalling experience at this restaurant . From start to finish, my visit was marred by the arrogant staff, abysmal food quality, and outright shocking customer service.

The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by an air of superiority radiating from the staff. Their attitudes were one of complete indifference, as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to dine there. A simple request for a table seemed to irk them, further emphasizing their arrogance.

Let's now discuss the haunt of unhygienic horrors that awaited in the kitchen. It appeared as though cleanliness was not a priority for the owner or the staff. The sight of old, grimy utensils and greasy surfaces made me question when was the last time a proper cleaning took place. It's mind-boggling how any restaurant can have a total disregard for basic hygiene standards.

Now, onto the most distressing part of my experience: the food. It seemed like the kitchen purposefully sought out the lowest quality ingredients available. Every dish I ordered was tasteless, poorly cooked, and lacked any semblance of freshness. It was as if they were serving leftovers from previous days. I shudder to think about the potential health hazards lurking within the meals they served.

As if all of this wasn't enough, the staff and the owner's unprofessional behavior hit rock bottom. I witnessed them constantly engaging in heated arguments with customers, not even attempting to address concerns or rectify mistakes. It was clear that customer satisfaction was the least of their worries. This blatant disregard for basic customer service norms left me dumbfounded.

To conclude, my experience this place left me feeling disgusted, insulted, and utterly disappointed. An establishment that prides itself on arrogance, serves unsanitary food of deplorable quality, and chooses to quarrel with its patrons is not worth a single penny of your hard-earned money. Save yourself the distress and steer clear of this nightmarish restaurant...

I had an absolutely horrendous encounter with this hotel last night. I ordered chicken biryani via SWIGGY, and what I received can only be described as a culinary catastrophe. Despite specifically requesting a milder spice level, the biryani was shockingly, unbearably spicy. It was as if they were trying to set my taste buds on fire. But that's not all. The presentation was a nightmare. The biryani resembled a sad concoction of rice drowned in an unappetizing sea of chicken gravy. To make matters worse, the "chicken" biryani had an appalling shortage of actual chicken. I had to search high and low just to find a few meager chicken bones amid the sea of rice. This was an unparalleled low in my gastronomic journey. I have never encountered such a dismal excuse for a meal. It felt like a bad joke – a tasteless one at that. It is with a heavy heart that I warn others to stay away from this restaurant. Their disregard for customer satisfaction and the abysmal quality of their food are glaring red flags. I implore you, spare yourself the disappointment and frustration. Avoid this restaurant like the plague. Your taste buds, your stomach, and your sanity deserve better. There are countless other dining options out there that actually value their customers and take pride in serving delectable dishes. Sadly, this restaurant falls short in every conceivable way. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this restaurant. If they can't even get a basic dish like chicken biryani right and fulfill a simple request for a milder spice level, it speaks volumes about their lack of attention to customer preferences and quality. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal. Save your money and your taste buds – avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other restaurants that value their customers and serve delicious food. This restaurant, however, should be off your list if you're looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. In all sincerity, do yourself a favor and choose wisely. This establishment has proven beyond a doubt that it's not worth your time, money,...

We have visited Malabar Hotel multiple times during our trips to Gurgaon, as it’s one of the few places serving authentic Kerala cuisine in the area. The restaurant has a simple yet welcoming ambiance, making it a decent spot for a meal. Sometimes delays may experience.

During our recent visit, we ordered Porotta, Appam, Biryani, Pothu Roast, and Pothu Fry. While most of the dishes were average, the Pothu Fry stood out as the best—flavorful, well-cooked, and rich in spices. The Porotta was decent, but the Biryani and Pothu Roast could have been better in terms of taste and spice balance. On the plus side, the quantity was good, making it a budget-friendly option for Kerala food lovers.

The restaurant also has a washroom facility, which is convenient for customers. However, during one of our visits, they allowed only girls to use the washroom, which was unexpected and inconvenient for others.

Overall, it’s a good place to experience Kerala cuisine in Gurgaon, but the food quality and consistency could be improved. With better flavors and service enhancements, it could become a go-to spot for Kerala food enthusiasts in the area. Would love to see some improvements...

If you are craving some South Indian non-vegetarian food, this is the place to be! From delicious chicken curry to sea food items, this hotel has every type of flavour to suprise you! We're regular online customers for egg curry and chicken biryani which was delicious. But, today I was blown away with the Malabar special chicken curry!! The scrumptious curry was very yummy, do try it with Malabar parotta or appam( a thick rice small dosa). Chicken chettinnad is also tasty. The prices are reasonable and the staff is courteous. Overall, I would love to visit this restaurant again. Thanks for a lovely experience. ❤️

Solid spot for a meal. The staff were polite, and the food was good—not mind-blowing, but definitely enjoyable. We had Mutton Biryani, Kothu Parotta, and Karimeen Fry. Quick tip: skip the seafood; it’s not the freshest, and you’ll notice. Otherwise, the food holds up well. Prices? Depends on what you compare it to—feels normal if you're used to Gurgaon rates. The ambience isn’t exactly Instagram-worthy, but it’s fine. No traffic hassles either, as it’s a bit tucked away from the city chaos. Overall, a decent place to eat if you're in the area.

One of the best Kerala cuisine based restaurants I have frequented. The appams were like soft and fluffy clouds. The roast and the curry were not overly spicy, which is a good thing when you want to introduce someone who's new to Malayali food. The only con was that they don't serve some gravy on the side when you order non-gravy dish like a fry with appam or porotta, unlike every other Kerala eatery I have visited. TLDR: probably the best Malayali food in Gurgaon. Must visit.
