Review for Swagatam - Party Hall and Banquet Hall
I recently had the unfortunate experience at Swagatam - Party Hall and Banquet Hall, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before considering it. The venue is deceiving, and unfortunately, it seems to be more about taking advantage of customers than offering quality services.
Firstly, they do not provide any physical menu to guests or event organizers, which I found extremely unprofessional and shady. How can you make informed choices about your food options when you're not given any tangible way to understand what's on offer? It felt like they were intentionally keeping things vague to push customers into paying whatever they asked, without clear knowledge of the pricing or the offerings.
Speaking of pricing, the charges were outrageous. For the quality of food and service they provide, it’s more in line with a budget hall, yet they charge as if they are a 5-star premium restaurant. I was shocked to see how inflated the prices were—far beyond what you would expect for the subpar quality they delivered.
And then, the food. The quality was absolutely abysmal. Dishes were bland, poorly cooked, and not fresh. What was supposed to be a special occasion turned into an embarrassing experience because the guests were equally disappointed. For the prices they charge, I expected a much higher standard of food and service, but it felt like they were cutting corners everywhere.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend Swagatam to anyone. It's a scam wrapped in the guise of a banquet hall. If you're looking for a venue where you can trust the quality and the pricing, do yourself a favor and...

This so-called food court is nothing short of a tourist trap designed to loot unsuspecting travelers. The prices are ridiculously inflated – ₹70 for a single roti and ₹390 for a mediocre serving of Shahi Paneer is outright robbery. Even a simple cup of tea is ₹50, which is just absurd. On top of that, the service is atrocious. The staff is rude, unbothered, and completely unprofessional. They don’t even have the decency to provide a menu – you’re expected to ask for prices and then get shocked by the absurd rates.
It’s crystal clear that there's a shady arrangement between this food court and the travel agencies. Buses are intentionally made to stop here, forcing passengers to eat at this overpriced dump while both parties laugh their way to the bank. Even pre-packaged snacks like chips and water bottles are sold well above the MRP.
This place is a scam. It's dirty, overpriced, and the food isn’t even worth half the money they charge. I strongly urge everyone to avoid eating here at all costs. You’re better off staying hungry than wasting your money at this sham of...
Read moreThis food court should be given zero star. What a pathetic it is. This is actually like a scam done with collaboration of bus drivers/travel agencies. All buses stop here but service, hygiene, professionalism, quality is badly missing. My bus stopped here and everyone was struggling to give order. 3,4 man were roaming, always pre occupied.. seems staff too less for the crowd. No menu was there... if you get a chance to grab one person then you can say anything.. Koi pakad me aayega tab to puchoge menu and order doge.. Koi pakad me hi nahi aaraha tha.. Then after 20min struggle, two of us grabbed one staff & asked 1 dal makhni & 2 roti la de... Isse pehle ki hum bhookhe reh jayen... Without asking menu n price. He brought that in 5min. We ate quickly. Food was just eatable. No hygiene. Paid 300 just for these two. So very costly. Waste of time n money. Don't go here. Bagal me vaishno dhaba hai.. Wo try karlo lekin ye food court...
