The India Room at ITC Grand Bharat specialises in European dishes. Classy, majestic and royal were words which came to my mind as I entered the stunning restaurant. Every corner of the restaurant was unique and spectacular. From the royal blue carpet to the chandeliers as well as the French windows. One highlight of India Room is the Wise Regal table which is generally reserved for family get together and special celebrations. If you reserve the 8-seater table, you are given a personal butler for the 7/8 course meal which needs a prior reservation.

Manoj took great care of us and explained every dish with a smile. Guests can choose from a set menu as well as À la carte. We had a variety of dishes. Starting from hors d'oeuvre, an appetizer or starter served before a meal in European cuisine. We chose The India Room Salad, Anjou Poached Pear Salad as well as Insalata Caprese. It was such a refreshing, tempting, nice and nutritious start. My favourite is The India Room Salad which had a blend of asparagus, chevre and berries in citrus dressing. In Entrees we chose Aubergine Tortellini and Artisanal Fettuccine and the latter won my heart which was topped with mushrooms. It was cheesy and so yum. The Souffle of the day was Goude Souffle which was topped with Paprika Sauce. In Main course, I mean Plat Principaux, we chose Baked Artichoke Cake, Minestrone Lasagne, Pan Seared Fish and Seared Chicken Breast. All the dishes were delectable and were presented beautifully.

The perfect end to the meal were the desserts which looked like a piece of art the way they were presented. Our picks were Baked Yoghurt and Caramel Millle Feuille. Both of them were amazing and were relished in no time.

We enjoyed our great meal in customised Villeroy & Boch plates. I loved the exotic and royal napkin rings too.

Thank You Manoj who took...

Great atmosphere and buildings. Nice getaway from the city life. However, the people at the reception and the restaurant have ruined the experience for us. I don’t know if the hotel is new and all the workers are newly hired, but everyone was really incompetent. When we arrived, the security at the entrance took our luggage and didn’t bring it inside for some reason, the receptionist would ask us to wait at the sofa after taking our names, but forget about us completely and let others check in before us, and checking out was repeat of the check in experience. At the restaurant, the Indian food was relatively good, but the western food was of poor quality. Also the waiters seem to have a memory of a gold fish, as they forgot our order 4times for some reason. Value for money wise, it is really not worth it, one should simply save up the money and use it for the next...

Extremely disappointed with the experience at ITC Grand Bharat. I had never expected such poor hospitality from a reputed ITC brand.

Mr. Abhishek at the reception was shockingly rude and unprofessional — completely lacking basic courtesy and communication skills. The way he behaved during checkout was unacceptable and far from the hospitality standards ITC is known for.

For a property that claims to offer “luxury with responsibility,” the experience was the exact opposite — zero warmth, zero professionalism, and absolutely no sense of guest respect.

I genuinely hope ITC management takes note of this and trains their staff better because one rude employee can ruin the entire impression of such a prestigious brand.

Truly the worst checkout experience ever — a complete letdown from ITC’s...

Amazing food and chef and the best part was the incredible waiter Manoj who was very attentive and very professional. He makes you feel like a million bucks and treats everyone he meets so well. The food was great and we ended up eating here four of our five night stay. Highly recommend.
