Worst experience ever. If you are a Punjabi food lover avoid visiting as you would be disappointed later. The preparation style of food is Mughalai which is way different than Punjabi. Even the staff won’t suggest you anything even if there is something wrong with your order.
Ours is a small town and having a outlet with this much high price is usually not expected. Still we visited thinking there would be definitely something special when someone is putting high prices and its name is Royal Pakwan.
We visited for the first time and we had two kids with us. Thinking about kids we ordered Shahi paneer and malai kofta. Shahi paneer obviously was supposed to be with regular punjabi tadka, a little sugar and obviously kaju paste and cream in it (expecting a yellow red color as final gravy) and malai kofta more of kaju and malai paste with white gravy.
But guess what, the shahi paneer was turned out to be totally white. It was actually a malai paneer where no tomato onion garlic was used. It was malai gravy with kaju paste. My worst ever Shahi Paneer experience. you can assume how our dinner plate was looking like. Both dishes totally sweet and the person who took our ordered didn’t clearly mentioned about this.
Now lets talk about Fresh lime, it was too sour.
Garlic nan was good for that reason I have given 1 star.
In General: Items are Over Priced Staff is untrained Food taste is average, even a dhaba would prepare it much better with less cost.
Final Review: “Unchi Dukaan Feeka Pakwan” Perfect example of this idiom.

Read moreYesterday, I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Royal Pakwan during lunch at 3:00 PM. I ordered Daal Makhni, Tawa roti, plain rice, and raita, expecting a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but.
Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. It took more than an hour for the food to arrive, which is unacceptable for a lunch service. The prolonged wait was frustrating and set a negative tone for the entire meal.
When the food finally arrived, it was a complete letdown. The taste was terrible, especially the Daal Makhni. It had a foul smell, suggesting it was old, possibly more than 10-15 days. This raised serious concerns about the freshness and safety of the food being served. The Tawa roti was another major disappointment. It was not properly baked, making it hard and unpleasant to eat.
The only somewhat decent items were the plain rice and raita, but even they couldn’t salvage the overall poor quality of the meal. Given the terrible taste and poor service, it was easily the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
I would strongly advise against dining at Hotel Royal Pakwan. The slow service, stale food, and poorly prepared dishes make it a place to avoid. My experience was so bad that I felt compelled to share this review to warn others. Based on my visit, I am giving Hotel Royal Pakwan a well-deserved 1-star rating. Avoid this place if you value your...
