🥗Aahar Villa Mashobra — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

If it were possible, I would give zero stars. We were traveling back from Shimla towards Naldera at around 8:00 pm. Since this place was on the way, we thought of picking up some dinner. The owner seemed proud and a lil boastful of his property and his housing, although we were more interested in the food since it had been a long day. After promising a 15 min wait, we got Aloo Jeera and Dal Fry with some Roti after 45 min of waiting. After we got our food, we hurried back to our place, and surprise surprise, after opening the hideous packets, we found out the aloo wasn't cooked at all. Hard as stone. And mind you, this comes after 45 min of waiting. Nevermind, as responsible people, we thought of informing the aforementioned owner about this, and again to our surprise (which shouldn't have been), he didn't take it well. He started making excuses that he'll go check up with the chef and everything, but he never promised anything concrete. After we asked for a full refund, or anything of some sorts, he started violently accusing us of swearing him. So much for taking criticism. Well definitely not gonna eat at this place again, really not worth it. Not with that attitude. Hope this review helps...

Soup was very delicious and the taste of food was very good. And the Bollywood retro music in background added to the ambience. Do order soup when you are here. Soup in cold of mashobra will make your day.

Coincidentally we were loitering around in mashobra market and we landed at medical shop for some purchase. The owner of the shop recommended this restaurant... When we were returning after having dinner from restaurant, medical shop owner sharma uncle was returning from his shop. He met us again and queries about the food. During UPI payment at hotel I realised that it was a medical shop QR code. Then I asked sharma uncle that if this was his restaurant. He said he had 2 medical shop and 1 restaurant. Family friendly restaurant in mashobra offering budget friendly multi cuisine veg food (menu has good variety in veg). Service is good. Best part is their food taste and location. Parking is available. We visited this place for 2 days for having our lunch/brunch. They have rooms also available at decent prices with an awesome valley/Green view. We had multiple dishes including starters and main course - noodles, white sauce pasta, honey chilli potato, dal makhni, mushroom masala, chilly mushroom, garlic parantha, missing roti.

Must visit this place for great veg food without shelling out much from your pocket. Owner Mr. Abhinav Sharma is a good person, had nice interaction with him. All the best and keep it...
