Cafe Chalte Chalte — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

It's an awesome stay. The restaurant name is 'Cafe chalte chalte' and home stay name is 'sleep well'. We stayed here for 1 night. I would prefer a stay like this in a peaceful atmosphere rather than hustle bustle of Manali. The room rent and food is reasonably priced. There is no Lift as it's just basement, ground floor (where reception & restaurant is situated) and the 1st floor. It has 2nd floor but for staff only. It's beautifully built and can be well recognised being on the road itself. It has mountain as well as valley facing room. The room was neat & clean. The washroom has 24hr hot water. Our room was mountain side view and had two side views. Few rooms are valley facing with balcony. However, one can enjoy balcony like valley views from the restaurant as well. The food is good, prepared fresh and served hot. One can book the room online or offline. The location of the hotel is too good. Manali is just 8-10km drive, so one can always visit Manali and come back here. The views from the hotel are awesome. If one loves peace then must stay at a place like this. Location: I discovered this hotel on the way back from Ladakh in 2013, since then have stayed here 6 times & never felt bored Infact I went in April with my wife & now with my friends in May. This place is idol for people who need a getaway from cities into the lap of hinamalayas. Chalte chalte is 10kms from manali & old manali which is now turned into a typical crowded hill station like shimla etc. if you want peaceful stay & you are a nature lover this is the place you should be staying in. ||||Food: I have tried almost everything in the menu from veg to non veg to cutlets & chineese, there cook hasn't disappointed me & my friends n family at all.....less oily & less spicy is my kinda taste and it exceeded my expectation. Perfect for foodies even if you are not staying here you must try there food & you'll fall in love with the taste.||||Hospitality: starting from the owner to the cook & helpers, all are warm in terms of hospitality & will never say no to anything possibly they can do. I have stayed here with my parents, friends & colleagues in these 6 visits & all returned happily.||||I have been staying on old manali & kasol in all my visits bt since 2013 this is my only getaway spot.
