(Traveled with a group of persons) The ambience of this place is good no doubt in that but what makes me to never recommend this place to anyone is because of the following reasons I always prefer to avoid consuming anything that is wrapped around plastic or is packed in plastic. On asking one of the waiter there for water, he comes up with a packaged drinking water. On simply and politely denying the use of that I told him to get me regular drinking water he rudely told me that "Kya 20rs bachare ho itna bill banwakar" and that too loudly. I told him that it's not a matter of 20 bucks but it's as simple as that I along with my family don't consume and try to avoid anything that increase the plastic waste and will end up on the roads or in some waste heap of garbage and is harmful for the nature and specifically for hilly areas where waste management system is not efficient due to increase in tourists footfall. After a little talk with him I requested him to get me water from where all of the staff must be drinking and to that he answered we consume the regular tap water to which I asked that you must have an aquaguard or something but he refused. I also not pushed him further for this but what comes to my utter surprise was that while leaving from the other direction to our way out, I saw a proper water-cooler with an aquaguard installed there. I usually take my water bottle along but that time it was empty so I thought to refill it from the water-cooler and at that time only that particular waiter was passing by so i told her sir this is the water-cooler with aquaguard and he abrubtly told me toh peelo fir paani. I was shocked seeing this attitude. The staff there must be at least polite enough if they can't fulfil whatever you are asking for. Instead they are in there own attitude. For anyone who loves nature, please never visit there. Although it' the only decent place around that area but still. The food quality was average and portion was good. I have given them one star just for the ambience they have. Request to the owner: Please tell your staff to be a little courteous towards the guests and please make regular water...
Read moreIf you ever want to roam at a distance of 15-20 km, then there is a very beautiful place before Gagret in Himachal, about 20 km from Hoshiarpur, Coffee House. There are also some toys and a jumping net for the little ones to play with. The park here is very beautiful to see. If you do not want to go far, then this place is very close and good. The coffee here is good. Snacks are good too. Indoor seating is a little less, but there is plenty of room for outdoor seating. Some small toys for small children are also engaged in the park outside, but keep one thing in mind, whatever food you eat here or whatever you take, when its bill comes, then definitely check it once because it happened to me. The thing which I had not ordered was also billed. So it is not known how many customers this would have happened. So when cross questioned him, he returned the money saying sorry. There will be many people who do not check the bill and leave with the same bill, so this is a wrong thing in a way. Wrong practice. The place is very beautiful but still keep these...
Read moreThe park and the restaurant were clean and the coffee is decent. Those were the only positives as we had to walk to the waiters table to get their attention every time we needed service.
Not even water was provided or offered. The pizza dough was made of unknown substance, Tandoori Pasta was a unique blend of tasteless flavors. The fries and the cold coffee were decent.
Waited 10-15 minutes after finishing the meal for the staff to approach us for desserts/bill to no avail. We had to again walk to the waiters table to ask for the bill.
Not sure how the restaurant is still in business, I guess the management thinks they are doing the public a favor by letting them sit on grass 🤣.
Majority of the restaurants we visited in Punjab provided top notch service and the food quality was good so we will scratch this place as...
