Quick Bite at Food Safari, Dharamshala

We were visiting Dharamshala and one morning headed out early for sightseeing. Around 11 AM—too late for breakfast, too early for lunch—we found ourselves hungry with limited options nearby. That’s when we spotted Food Safari, located right across from the War Memorial, conveniently on the main road.

The place was nearly empty at that hour, so we had it to ourselves. We ordered a bunch of things. The service was slow, but the food made up for it. The momos were excellent—juicy and flavorful, bursting with every bite.

What really hit the spot for me was the pineapple pizza. It’s a rare find and a personal favorite, so I was thrilled to indulge after a long time.

Overall, it was a good experience. I wouldn’t call it a must-visit, especially with so many great food spots in Dharamshala, but for a quick, satisfying bite—especially when you’re short on options—it does the job.

That said, I usually prefer local cuisine, and this was more of an emergency pick that happened to...

Food Safari Café in Dharamshala is a true delight for food lovers and travelers alike. Tucked away in a scenic spot, this café offers not just great food but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger.

The menu has a wonderful mix of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. I was especially impressed by the flavors – rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or a quick drink breaks, this place delivers.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy serving their guests. The cozy seating, chill music, and mountain views added to the relaxing vibe.

If you’re in Dharamshala and looking for a café with great food, peaceful ambiance, and good service, Food Safari should definitely be on your list. I’ll be coming...

My sister and I are pure vegetarians. We were starving and wanted to eat quickly so ordered cheese chilly which doesn't take much time. The girl who took the order was very confused. She asked us multiple times before taking the order, it was a task to give order to her. As soon as the food arrived we binged on it but as soon as we took the first bite it was non veg😣. Yes they served ur chicken and in the very first bite we realised something is wrong and it's not paneer. So ridiculous, how cud u serve chicken to a vegetarian. On top of that the girl was smiling after all this. They didn't do anything to compensate for the blunder. No discount, no nothing. Pathetic customer service.. learn some professionalism...

New food joint in town. Good for a quick bite. A select few items on the menu are really impressive but the rest are not at par with the expectations. My favourite: Non-Veg Crunchy Momos. Peri Peri Fries are good too. Lemonades are worth a try. The dual theme is a nice concept but the execution is not satisfactory. One of the themes is purely unusable because the seating is so uncomfortable and so are the tables. Would be better off if it was just one theme with more seating. Come to think about it the dual theme isn't even why anyone is visiting. One other thing, the place needs some ventilation. It gets a little stuffy inside.

Tired there steam momos they were tasty Fried momos were also crispy and tasted nice The layer was thin and filling was nicely made and was not at all dry which added to the flavour And I finished the complete plate alone Had their zehar lemonade on there recommendation of best drinks and it didn't disappoint at all The Sandwiches were also nicely prepared. Everything tasted nice and fresh so can highly recommend. It's on main road . I really liked the filling of veg momos it was flavourful which is rare to find . Don't have the photos of steam momos but they were really tasty and very nicely made
