Hotel Highway Treat — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

I visited this hotel around 3 pm for lunch. First thing i noticed is that this place had over crowd and no one is following covid rules. owner paste some instruction like no mask no service but in reality even there staff is not following that also. second thing there menu had everything except aalu gobhi ki sabji. then I ordered 1 normal veg thali which include 1 small rice bowl, 2 roti, mix veg, and daal plus little salad. they charged me 130 for this thaali. but I can say rate is according to tourist but taste is not upto the mark of what they charged. Too much chilly is used in everything... instead of eating in these hotel you can eat fruits to fulfil your hunger..... We took a halt here for breakfast. The bathrooms were clean. Service was quite slow. They have some prepaid kind of system which is not suitable and convenient. Their attitude also was not that good. Food was pathetic. We ordered parantha and omelette. The worst Paratha i have ever eaten. Butter was also not provided. It has to be ordered extra for Rs 15. We said ok give but came after 15 minutes when Paratha was about to over. We were eating slowly waiting for it but still could finish it. I ordered coffee which was good. Others in the group ordered tea which was worst tea they ever had. Its like same tea has been heated many many times. Completely dark colour.

Google is limiting the rating to 1 star. Otherwise this place deserves absolute 0 star. We stopped here for having lunch. Ordered paneer butter masala, tandoori roti and fresh lime soda. Tandoori roti was burnt and such thick roti. It was maida not whole wheat. Paneer was stale and very tasteless gravy( mine worst experience with this so far). And I guess effort was put to make even fresh lime soda taste bad. Instead of soda it had water and no lemon, no salt. I would definitely recommend to avoid this place at all costs if you don't want to ruin your day. I am sure all reviews praising this...
