Decent food. Decent view. Was slightly disappointed because we realised that this place is all hyped up. We had decided to take a break during our journey over here but didn't know it would be a bad decision. The cafe is situated way inside palampur town which means it takes a lot of time just to reach here considering the narrow and congested roads of a hilly town. Food was average and the service was very slow. The upside was clean toilets and friendly staff. The place is over priced. One wouldn't mind spending if the taste of food is worth the cost. But one would get tastier food at a regular highway dhaba/restaurant at much cheaper rates. The menu is very limited (again over priced). We selected half a butter chicken, two tawa butter rotis(naan and tandoori rotis are not on the menu) , French fries for kids, half chilli chicken and one chowmein. Spent a good above a thousand bucks for this. Portion size was decent. This place is more suitable for locals who have time at hand and want to bask in the glory of the afternoon sun on a cold winter day and take in the view of the mountains. The quality of services and food was very poor, it took them more than half an hour to prepare meal for just one person even when there was no crowd at all. The quality of the food recieved was harsh, the food was not even cooked properly and didn't even contain the basic ingredients. Even when complained the staff showed almost no response like they didn't even care a bit about the customer. The joint is located at the mosy visited viewpoints of the place and it is naturally expected for the place to serve top quality food, if not then even average food, still no one would expect the the unpleasant you are going to find here.
