The Shivay Cafe and Stay. — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

This was my second visit to Shivay cafe, my family accompanied me this time when I told them about my first experience. We made booking for night stay at Shivay Cafe. They had already prepared our rooms which were spacious, clean, warm and well maintained. Clean bedsheets, clean blanket and quilt and clean bathroom were offered. Shivay cafe is located at 2800 meters so expect chill winds blowing and temperature near 16 degrees during hot month of May. The dining area of cafe is nicely decorated and maintained. Divakar ji and Charanjit ji who run the place provide amazing hospitality to their guests. The chef is humble person who listens carefully what is asked for. He prepared delicious homely food. He gave loving gesture whenever we asked for anything. My family thoroughly enjoyed time spent at shivay cafe.

Whoever is reading this comment, if you are visiting Dalhousie or Khajjiar take the road from Pathankot to Chamba instead of Banikhet or Dhar. The road is well maintained, no traffic on this route. And when you reach Jot, take halt at Shivay. There is a lot of prospect in Jot to establish as a hill station. Highly recommended to anyone to visit Shivay cafe. You will find it really...

This place comes when you are 0% expecting any cafes or restaurants on the way. This cafe came while we were going back to Dharamshala from Khajjiar and for sure there were no cafes or restaurant to eat within the range of 5km or more. Now coming to the food, food was amazing, taste was good and quantity too. There was only a guy preparing the food and serving too while we were there but kudos to that guy, we didn't have to wait for long. The view from the cafe must be amazing which I couldn't see because of the rain. But even in the rain we could realise that and the video is from the balcony of the cafe. The best part of the cafe was you can pay online here too, we were not expecting that because of the area and no nearby cafes, but this was a plus point. Also they have places to stay where people were working from home as told by the owner but can't give review of that. All in all must visit if you are passing...
