We were tired from travelling so decided to take a day off and stay in the hotel... It was not a good idea... Pros: The view is good Room has good space.
Cons: The staff didn't offer any welcome drinks The carpet was stained and looked disgusting. We left the switch on for house keeping, called them to clean the carpets but no one picked up the call! The next day afternoon with a scheduled check, the housekeeping team checked and we asked them to get the carpet cleaned of stains and they said they can't do it. The washrooms don't have vents!!! This was the worst thing we had to face. We came to Zion as it was expensive and the washrooms were nice. But we were extremely disappointed as there was no place for the bad odor to go. We had to wait about 30-40 minutes just to be okay with what we have. The AC only works on heating mode and when asked to change they said the whole floor needs to be reconfigured to cooling mode and they can bring in extra fans if needed. How will that help? And to add further they said the room will cool down by evening naturally. I'm paying money for my convenience but when the same thing is not provided, I don't think it's worth it. Unlike the other hotels I've stayed in, instead of being asked at the entrance of the dining if I'm eligible for the complimentary breakfast/dinner, I was asked on multiple occasions while I'm picking up food which I felt can be less awkward if things are checked before letting people in. Please ask the staff to stand at the entrance and do the needful. The closets in rooms don't close entirely and need touch-ups. Play areas are chargeable. Many of the staff members lacked experience on handling customers queries and satisfaction.
The best way I can put this experience is "overpriced for a...

Read moreWe had already paid you higher prices as we took executive room. And by mistake the contactless key card was misplaced and the staff person seating on desk said sir it was of 200 rs cost. How can any employee disrespect a customer like that (whatever room he is staying in) ? They should say it’s ok sir we will give you another card. Before that no card was ever misplaced by any customer or staff ?? But it was good of them they didn’t took that charge 😅
After breakfast on the very second day, I just asked to pack some cut fruits for kids. One of their staff after long discussion with another staff members, is getting ready to pack fruits. After that he is saying we don’t give anything like this to any customer so don’t tell anyone as it is being charged. What is this?? It totally was mind-numbing. Even in 2-star or any 3-star hotel staff never hesitate to pack any number of things from breakfast to pack for kids. As they also know that they don’t eat much together. And we had paid for that breakfast, and he was telling like that he was giving free or like we were begging..
And one important thing, the AC was not working for my whole stay. The mechanic comes and say it will take half hour to cool the room but there was no cooling effect at all.
Their food was also not so good in taste but when we gave them suggestions, next day they served good in taste food.
However the...
