Located near Rampur, this place is a great place to halt at after Kinnaur, for your road trip up till Kaza via Nako. Our host has travelled over 46 countries and had experience of working in Taj as a chef. Their indigenous vibes depicted a true taste of their passion to serve their fantastic food. We were welcomed with 100% pure Apricot slush that they were experimenting as a dish for future travellers. Hand-squashed Cherry juice for as also offered to taste. This place is on the Shimla Peak of HP and right below it is the River Satluj dividing it from the Kullu Peak that's visible right across. Before 1970s, the place currently known as Kullu was a part of Punjab, and this part where our Cafe and is located was a part of the then Himachal Pradesh union territory. Being an avid traveller, the cafe owner does have an excellent taste of unique artifacts. A vintage mini Airplane, a bird's nest with a stuffed Owl and ofcourse the Himachal Flags. There was a musical instrument (similar to a bell) which was originated out of Japan. The gong heard out of these vibrations creates a sound that enriches the atmosphere with a positive and peaceful vibe - makes you feel as contented as you would feel after a session of focused meditation.

Towards Rampur, just by the sutlej view, a Lovely place and interestingly insta worthy place for must visit, well runs by Mr. Ravi, an ex IHMites (for me thats the just Connection requires for being inquisitiveness). We shared a lot today and the food was brilliant for our scorching stomach. The momo was served in a particular wanton wrap style, with apt aloo jeera for Rotis and ending up with coke with steel straws, which made me giving a big thumbs up to The SOP well excpeted form a hotelier. Being from The same profession, we had a long chit chat to The brink of our driver honking to get going. We shared our business cards and promised to return back on our Next trip, or you never know, even while returning too. Mr Ravi, thank you so much for the hospitality and see you soon at Kolkata.

Chanced upon this restaurant on our way towards Delhi. Had an amazing experience with the food and service! Food came really quickly with the boss coming to check on our orders. Restaurant is clean with great atmosphere. We ordered chicken biryani, egg fried rice, fish and chips, and fries. Chicken biryani was surprisingly mindblowing. Ordered coffee and boss gave us extra coffee biscuits as a pairing. Appreciate the homely gesture. Highly recommended!

The quality and quantity of food is really nice, owners are nice too. They provide option to dine in open with a good mountain view and dine inside the restaurant with good space and ambience.

Be careful in this area and keep your belongings close and safe. There are thieves in this area, someone took my bag, wallet and phone from the traveler while we were having lunch there. Make sure your vehicles are locked or someone is there to take care of...
