Highland's Water Front — Restaurant in Hingna

When the restaurant was newly opened it was all well and good. But now when we visited recently on a Saturday night for family dinner , had one of the most pathetic experiences. Ambience is still the same and well maintained, but food, beverage and service is something you highly need to look into. Since it was a Saturday night we had made a table booking, got the table, placed our orders and waited for the food. We understand that restaurant was busy so a delay is expected. But the beverages came and they were disappointing, it was just 2-3 tetra packed juices mixed together with lemon. Its not like we weren’t ready to wait, we were okay to wait and we underStood their situation as well, but even after waiting such disappointing beverages just kills the vibe. Starters were great no complain, SERVICE is the major issue here, you people are EXTREMELY short staffed, we felt bad for the waiter because he was continuously running here and there and all the tables were literally screaming at him. There was no one to attend us, for a usual cutlery we waited for 10-15 min, by the time food used to go cold. When the main course came, plates weren’t changed, food arrived, he just dumped the food on the table and went off to another table. Then we had to scream and call another waiter who then came and served. By that time roti, naans everything was stale and rubbery. When you pay for such kind of meal, travel all the way out of the city you expect good service but no it was utter disappointment...

The food is good here and the ambience is nice. But the service is pathetic.

We reserved our table before hand gave their vendor the deal to get the birthday decor done for 7. We had to wait till 8. Nothing was ready. Had to go and request them multiple times. We had to do the preparation ourselves.

The steward assigned to our party was Vikas. He kept pestering us mid meals and then forced me to leave the restaurant a review. He forced me to add his name. He also kept standing on my head, looking at my phone till it was done.

When requested for takeaway boxes, another man chimed in to say we didn’t bring takeaway boxes today. We can’t pack your food. On forcing them to find us atleast packets. He didn’t pack the leftovers for us. We had to do it ourselves. We were a group of 13 people and we were treated this way. Wonder how smaller groups are treated here.

The food was nice, the ambience was good. But the service...

Good place to visit i must say. With one caution which i will mention in my review below. Ambiance is amazing in the night for dinner. Tables are also nicely arranged. Staff was good, collaborative and very polite. Food ordering experience was ok but can be improved. We observed serving staff was more and order taking staff was very less. Food menu was online which innovative but most of my family members were not able to access it online as network coverage was poor. Also very problematic for old age people. They couldnt do it. Owner should printing few copies will definitely enhance this experience. Mist spray was there to give cool effect in this summer time but that mist was having bad smell. I was not aware about the root cause of it. Rotating video shoot instrument was there which was good idea. Non veg Food rate was bit high. In pune also we dont pay this much for food. We paid 9k...
