1 Star – Very Disappointed! Ruined My Son’s Birthday!

I had the worst experience ever with Emoticon Bakery. This was supposed to be a special cake for my 7-year-old boy, but they completely spoiled it! Despite several reminders asking them to send the cake with a person who could handle it properly, they still chose to send it through an auto driver — and of course, the cake arrived damaged and late.

Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, they had the audacity to blame us, twisting facts and claiming that we ate the cake and asked for a refund later — which is absolutely false! We never sent any photos or videos saying the cake was enjoyed or consumed. The moment it was delivered, we informed them that the cake was spoiled.

What hurts even more is that I had ordered from them only because the owner was a friend, trusting that they would ensure quality and honesty. But clearly, I was wrong. If this is how they treat their friends, I can only imagine how they treat regular customers.

After this experience, I checked Google and found so many bad reviews, and now I understand why. I really wish I had seen them before ordering.

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s first birthday from this bakery, and the entire experience was deeply disappointing. The cake arrived 45 minutes late to the party venue while our guests waited, and to make things worse, it looked nothing like the design we had shared. The proportions were completely off, and the final product was so far from the reference image that anyone could tell it was a poor imitation. When we raised our concerns, the staff argued with us instead of acknowledging the mistake, claiming it looked “perfect.”

This is the second time this has happened with this bakery, and even though we didn’t ask for a price reduction or compensation, the poor service continued. To top it off, they didn’t even bring a cake knife or a candle—basic things you’d expect when delivering a birthday cake.

If you have a special occasion, do not take the risk with this bakery. I will never be ordering from them again. A birthday—especially a first birthday—deserves...

DON'T CONSIDER THIS BAKERY ALL ARE FAKE REVIEWS Recently we bought 6kg 3step fondant cake for my baby's bday. It is not yet all good. We asked them to deliver at 10am but they delivered at 1pm after several calls. I'm sure that they started making cake after 11am only and they are saying our chef was late. If you not manage your chef then how could you promise us to deliver at 10am. Apart from it the taste of the cakewas very bad all over it is maida and cream is like omg I can't explain. Even road side bakeries all good with it. The cake is tilted down in 5min. Other than cake we ordered 12 muffins with 6yellow and 6blue.
